I think there were just 6 rooms to book. That's exactly what I love. Not the big hotel walls with a massive amount of rooms, giant halls for breakfast...no thanks. This `Ancient Relais` is converted in to a hotel without removing too much of the gorgeous details. It is  a delight!
A very joung, but very good cook gave us a surprisingly good dinner with lots of fresh ingredients. The owner was very friendly, an interesting personality!

Very charming small hotel in Les Ardennes

We loved the idea of a renovated hotel.
Sadly, because of an ongoing renovation we got an "upgrade" to the loft. 
The loft was awesomely done (still needed a little work, but those are details), but...my boyfriend booked a simple hotel room because it still had an old feel to it. The loft was very modern so, it missed the authentic feeling.
Breakfast was great, he brought this to our room on the time we asked it.
The hotel manager is a very, very friendly man, who like to give information about the area if you asked.

Pleasant stay

Lovely B&B hosted by Hedwig. Historic old farm house. Modern trendy rooms and very cosy places like the bar with fireplace and resto area. The owner is a superb host. In winter time with some snow it would be even more lovely.

You know what to expect when you book a room in an old authentic place like this. We booked a room here for one night and it was a good experience.
Yes, the floors are squeaky, but if not in an old building like that, it would be suspect !
Nice bed and the overall accomadation. 
A few details which could improve quality : better lighting in the bathroom (helps with shaving and make-up ...) and a way to take a shower standing up instead of being obliged to squat ...

No WIFI, but that was no problem, it's a change to be away of the connected world.

Nice breakfast and the owner is indeed laid-back but everything needed is present.

We booked the room with Weekenddesk and we should have had a bottle of Cava. The owner told us to ask for it when needed, but as we forgot to do it, he didn't mention it when we left ... 

So, if you want a somewhat different weekend, this is a place wich I would recommend in beautiful settings.

Interesting building in beautiful settings

Dear fellow travellers,
We had a good time in Robertville. The Ancien Relais de Poste is an antique farmhouse. The owner is very laid back but friendly enough. We had a room upstairs with in it a spiral staircase up to the bathroom. Rather romantic. Quiet village out of season. Nice restaurant just next door.
If we're in the area, we'll certainly go back here.
Free parking on the terrain of the farm.
No extra charge for our little dog
Good breakfast too.
Have a good time and drive safely.
