I love the Bonefish hotel! I have been going there for years, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They’ve been so good to me that I have become great friends with the hotel manager.

Also, the rooms are quite comfortable, and the location is ideal. It’s easy to walk everywhere from there, and you have a great view of the ocean as well.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dangriga!

Friendliest hotel in Dangriga!

We needed a place to stay in Dangriga before heading to the next portion of our vacation.  Bonefish was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.  They arranged for our pickup from the airport and helped us coordinate getting to the dock.  The air conditioning was an added bonus!

Exactly what we needed!

i was on an IE trip to glovers too, and why they recommended this place is Beyond me.  they should have given option to pay more to stay at Pelican Resort.  the bonefish was the worst place i've Ever had to spend a night.  it was decrepit inside and out, the view from our curtained-closed window (we Had to know) was of an abandoned, falling-down building 3 feet away.  we wondered what kinds of bugs would infest our bags.   i'd have been happier renting a car and sleeping in IT.

don't do it !

We spent one night in Dangriga prior to an Island Expedition trip and this hotel was recommended to us.  We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff. The air conditioning worked well and we enjoyed a hot shower.  They had bananas, hot and cold drinking water, and a small, shared kitchen facility.  They also arranged for our pick-up from the Dangriga Airport.  It was close enough to walk to the Island Expedition office as well as grocery/convenience stores and restaurants.  Wifi worked well from our room. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Night Before an Island Expeditions Trip

We were heading to Glover's Reef and needed to overnight. Island Expeditions suggested the Bone Fish Hotel. I was a bit nervous from the pictures, but the place turned out to be very clean, good showers and clean linen. I slept well and enjoyed the morning coffee laced with cinnamon. The hotel is situated close to the Island Expeditions office and you can walk into the town and it's a short walk to the best (and only) good restaurant in town on the waterfront.

This hotel doesn't look great from outside, but very clean with wonderful staff.

First thing you need to know is that in Dangriga there are only 6-7 thousand people and it is not a tourist town so don't expect any international hotels.   This is a 7+ room small hotel that is very basic but clean, safe, centrally located with a warm and friendly staff.   They will cook a great breakfast for you as well. There are local things to do if you are willing to do local events and take tours.

If you are going to Dangriga you have a reason to be there so this isn't a bad place to stay. It's way overpriced but there's only one or two other hotels. The room was clean and comfortable with great beds. The smoke detector didn't have any batteries which was a tad alarming. I don't imagine that most hotels rooms in Central America have working smoke detectors but they could have at least closed the cover so I'm not reminded that the thing is broken. The towel rod was also filthy; which would've taken them 10 seconds to clean. 

They did have all the bottled water you could drink and the beach (a very dirty gross beach) is just a few steps away. We grabbed some beers from the corner shop on the main road and had a great stay. I'd stay here again if needed but don't expect much.

A Decent Place

The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and made the stay even more enjoyable. The sunrise from the hotel was breathtaking over the sea. It was perfect for my needs and everything was clean.
