Friendly staff and great service, central location, nice breakfast, dependable hot water, and consistently available WiFi—Felipez Hotel provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Room was bright, cheery, spotlessly clean, with a view of the city and mountains. Staff members are attentive to guests’ needs, answering questions and providing helpful information. A mini-refrigerator in the room was a real plus and the hotel has an elevator which is an asset for “tercera edad” travelers.

Excellent value, very comfortable stay

Room was clean, shower was hot & had great pressure (for Bolivia), great bed, in a perfect location to explore, has luggage storage if needed. Only downside would of been the wifi, connection is only available in reception lobby of hotel, not in the rooms. 

Basic Hotel

The Felipez Hotel is a decent hotel close to the main square, which was a draw for me.

The room came with a small refrigerator and a TV (never used it).  There's also wifi here and the signal was fine.  One negative was that there isn't AC or a ceiling fan and the window didn't have a screen (and there are mosquitoes here at night).  Because of this, it could be a bit warm in the room at times.

I'm not sure if breakfast was offered, but I always prepare my own meals anyway.

The room itself was clean and the maids offered to clean the room every day.  There was hot water for the shower as well and the bathroom was quite clean.

Since it's in center of town, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Also, there are views from the room, so the higher floors could be better for nicer views (I was on the 3rd floor and had a nice view).

All in all, it worked out well enough for my 3-day stay in the city.

Good location (5 minutes from main square)
Good value (240Bs for double)

Cons:
Breakfast is simple like elsewhere in Bolivia

Overall would definitely recommend and stay again.

Better than other midrange options we tried in Cochabamba

Stayed overnight here to go to a wedding in Cochabamba. Helpful staff, clean room, lovely hot shower. It was a bit noisy in the night with people coming and going and I think it would be hot in summer.
