This is a really nice little hotel. 
The staff are really friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice, the wifi is strong and consistent and the upper levels have a really nice view of the city. There's also an elevator for those staying on the upper levels. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is beyond amazing. The views there are spectacular. 
It is also in a really convenient location too, close to the witches market, good restaurants, the cable car station and San Francisco Church. 

I would recommend you stay here if you're passing through La Paz. 

Breakfast with a view  

The good: I loved 1)the location in the witches market, 2)the modern and clean room, 3)excellent shower, 4)helpful and knowledgeable front desk staff, 5)rooftop terrace for breakfast with excellent views, 6)elevator(!) 7)in-room heater

The areas for improvement: 1)Room was not consistently cleaned/ re-stocked with toiletries and bathroom tissue (I had to ask for these twice in my 5 night stay). 2)Breakfast offerings are very basic and limited in choice (bread rolls, 1 jam, some margarine, 1 boiled egg but only if requested, 1 watered down juice, bananas, instant coffee, instant oatmeal). To the point that I brought my own food to supplement for variety.

All-in I think it is a solid choice and offer great value, but could be amazing if they improve on the few suggestions listed above.

Great value and location

I spent few days in this great hotel during my stay in LA Paz, really clean and its position is absolutely fantastic just on top of the witch market and few blocks from the teleférico stop and really close to San Francesco church. The breakfast was simple but really tasted and the lady was really helpful with lots of information in how to move in la Paz. I wouldn't hesitate to book again in this hotel if I need to go back in LA Paz..

Excelente hotel in the middle of the witch market

The location is superb, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby  to choose from. The hotel is also very close to the witch market, walking distance to 3 cable car stations and church. The rooftop view is also very nice, this is where you have your complimentary breakfast. Now for the things you need to consider before staying here - the shower appears to be hit and miss, couldn't maintain a steady stream of warm water. You get roughly 60 secs of hot/ warm water and then it'll turn cold for 60-70 secs and then warm again, a continuous cycle.  If you are a long-legged person, your knees will most likely hit the shower door if you use the loo.  It is also tight to get in the shower. Breakfast is simple but should provide sufficient energy before your next meal. There is gas heating in the room but we didn't have any instructions how to operate this. Staff would surely have helped if we'd ask. The blankets were warm so we weren't desperate anyway. The room is clean.  Wifi is ok for simple browsing and emails. Staff were helpful and kind.  I think we still got value for money as the location is superb for the activities we wanted to do and places we wanted to visit. I am happy to stay here again because of its lovely location.

Excellent location ...

I stayed for 5 days over 3 days and was really impressed for the price each time. 

I took the single rooms which are at the back so very quiet. The bed was comfy, plenty of blankets, unlimited heating and a small bathroom with really good hot water and pressure. Soap, shampoo and towels provided. Lift access handy with heavy bags and altitude. 

The location was very central, right on the witches market and with all the tour agencies and restaurants within 30 seconds. Can walk to Murillo for the cable car, directly opposite an atm which takes MasterCard, ten min walk to visa extension office and 10bs in a taxi from the bus station. 

Staff were really helpful and spoke English. Was able to store my bag and they arranged a taxi to the airport for me. The night receptionist keeps the front door locked but answered immediately after buzzing and makes a note when a key is collected so good security, felt very safe as a single traveller. 

Very good WiFi, fine for streaming and downloading etc. 

Nice terrace on the top floor for breakfast but only had once as was disappointed it was just bread and bananas. 

Only minor downsides for me was that the gas heater had a knack to turn on and only Spanish instructions. Once it’s on it’s fine but I always worried I would gas myself! It’s under the window so tuck the curtain up to stop the hot air being lost behind them. Also some maintenance to check, 2/3 lightbulbs out in one room and slow draining shower tray making the bathroom floor flood in another. Curtains needed to cover glass bricks at end of bed. 

Would definitely stay again. 

Great central base with heating and hot water 

Great friendly staff, comfortable rooms with consistent hot showers and heaters. There are also some lovely views from the terrace. Stay here if your looking for a quality budget spot. The breakfast also has a decent selection including bread, cereals, fruit boiled eggs, coffee tea juice etc.

Fantastic value

Solo female Traveler felt safe and comfortable in a private room. The room is a good size and very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of blankets (plus a heater if needed in the room). There was plenty of hot water when it finally reached the room. The only complaint I have is the door to the shower hits the toilet so some people might find it a tight squeeze to get into the shower. Very polite and friendly staff day and night. Laundry service is prompt and smells fantastic.

Solo explorer

We spent 2 nights in this hotel.It is right in the witches market and very close to Plaza San Francisco. Nice and clean room. Unfortunaltely it has no sound proof at all so it gets quite noisy. Our bed was not so comfortable. Good wi-fi. Breakfast is very basic and it's served on the roof top terrace. Excellent staff, very professional and polite. They lets us leave our baggage for the whole day. Thank you

Great Location

We spent 2 nights at the hotel.  Very good location. 5 min walk to San Fran Plaza Witches market just around the corner.  Hot shower. Very good and basic breakfast. Very clean room.  Since it is very close to San Fran Plaza, we can hear the noise from our room but the noise died down after 10pm.  We told the front desk we need a taxi at 12am to the airport but we changed our mind to leave at 1am.  The gentleman actually double checked and confirmed with us to make sure our time was right.  Very thoughtful.
