A really cool hotel with a really cool location, lots of waterfalls within reach, and very historic land, nice people and really good food, and on the other hand, very, very cheap by the convertible brand.

Happy trip

This is one of my favourite places in Cazin. Food was very tasty and waiters were very polite and professional. I’m not sure about their English proficiency but i really liked it. This was our destination after a long sopping day in city centre so we were all very hungry. They delivered everything very professional and even told us about one of the natural water source. Highly recommend. 

Great place and great food 

My advice is NEVER go to Motel Stovrela in Cazin, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I went there thru booking.com and it was disaster. I was cheated on a few different ways, from booking and extra from the owner and Manager of this facility. I end up paying double amount for 2 night sleeping because I bring from the city a guest-friend and she visited me for 3 hours(7-10 PM) in the night and we left. I said to receptionist  she is coming and he just said o.k, but when leaving they charged me double the amount for two nights!! And not just that. It said on booking 600 meters from center but it is 2100 meters from center using a small road full of holes only for one car. Toilet is so small that an adult man can not move from one spot while showering or reach anything, you can not wash your face on the extremely small kid's sink, and no place to put head down above the sink because you are hitting a shelf just above the sink, toilet paper completely behind your back out of reach, extremely small toilet, out of any hospitality standards and not comfortable at all! Money paid 50 euro for two nights of that accommodation is way too much(In my case they charged me 100 Euro without explanation), for Bosnia and small, out of reach town like this.. I have to mention as well that mattress was full of blood on both side and on the linens I found several dark hear so hygiene and cleanliness is disaster. I f you talk to Manager/Owner you get negative response, he is not professional in this business, full of himself and do not care too much for every guest to feel good. He even offend me in mail saying "F. you" after I complain on all of this... Place is wasting of money, not worth it at all even close, not comfortable, out of reach, dirty, professionalism and communication zero. Good luck..

Completely disaster, waist of money!!

I can't (yet) say anything about the rooms, because we haven't stayed there yet. However, the location of the motel, behind the city, on the edge of the forest, is really great. It leads to a road there and there are (night guarded) parking lots right in front of the house. The food is very good. We tried the cevape stovrela. Hack meat at the top, stuffed with smoked meat. Snacks! If anyone thinks that Bosnia is only made up of Muslims and without pork, it probably lacks a lot of historical knowledge and realistic sense. Not for nothing, the street signs in the cazin are also Cyrillic.

Very good location, very good food

We've been to dinner a couple of times, and we've had a good time, a quiet atmosphere and good cuisine, even the pizza is good, just a little slow in the service.

Traditional Bosnian cuisine with pork dishes??? So, please don't... In Bosnia pork has not been eaten for centuries, but here it is presented to customers despite the ornamental name Didina Avlija. In translation Didina Avlija means about Opas's courtyard. However, Bosnian words are replaced by turcism which reinforces the impression/intention of Muslim Bosnian cuisine to be found here. Unfortunately this is not the case.

Hotel we present as Traditional Bosnian which is simply wrong...

The hotel is very close to the historic center and the old charchia (500m) but completely immersed in the green. The hotel is framed by fairy tale woods and a cheerful ridge runs alongside it. The hotel owes its name to the forest in which it is located, Stovrela which means a hundred springs. Outside a nice children's playground and a terrace for breakfast in the fresh air. The rooms are cozy and carefully detailed with all the comforts: wifi, tv, phone, hair dryers... Also they are well soundproofed and the night reigns peaceful. I wake up a beautiful sun filter through the perfectly oriented windows. Breakfast and salt, bread and hot water. We couldn't have had the best adventure of our romantic life!
