First you will be drawn to the pictures from the apartment, they are real, but don't do the property justice. It is simply one of the best views we have ever had, the Old Bridge is directly in site of the apartment. Next the apartment itself is very comfortable. It has a nice kitchen (but the food in Mostar is so good we didn't use it). the bathroom is very nice.
You are a short walk from old town and all the sights. In the morning breakfast is a treat (I will let  Emir surprise you). Make sure to get photos of the old town at different times of the day.
Tip on arrival: crossing the Lucki Bridge from East to West,  you will need to make a Sharpe right turn (you will be traveling back along the side of the bridge to the end.) Let the owner know you are there and he will assist you where to park.

Best view in Mostar

We stayed at the Goa Mostar in August and we loved it. We stayed in the studio apartment and you could not ask for a better picture-postcard view.
The host is very kind and welcoming. He genuinely wants to make sure you have the best stay. He gave us his homemade rose water to take on a trip and his equally lovely son drove us to the bus station when we were leaving.

Breakfast is also fantastic so don’t miss out.
I wish we could have stayed for longer and would definitely stay again if I were in the area.

Welcoming guesthouse with awesome views

Such a lovely guesthouse! Stunning views of Stari Most from our little garden, only a 5 or 10 minute walk from old town, and the breakfast was phenomenal. The owner even encouraged us to try a fig from his tree which was incredible. For breakfast he cooked us a beautiful array of traditional Bosnian dishes, made us fresh Bosnian coffee, and made us a pitcher of rose juice which was unforgettably lovely!

Stayed at this property for 3nights during my holiday's. Location is near the city centre perfectly located and easily accessible. Rooms are pretty decent and well maintained.large and with all basic facilities. Staff members are overall good. Food was ok

Vacation tour

We cannot say enough about our two night stay in Mostar at the Goa Guest house. We give it a twelve out of ten. Emir, his wife Mieda and son Errol were our hosts.

 Emir went over the top in his hospitality. We felt like friends and family. When we arrived, we sat at a table in the courtyard and he brought out a jug of his chilled, homemade rose juice. Delicious and so unique. We also were treated to it each morning at breakfast. He then brought out s plate of fresh figs for us, from his garden, while we visited. Then I asked him to show me his garden. We walked all through it. He showed me hanging squash bigger than a baseball bat. Kiwi growing on s rooftop lattice. He let me pick my own fig. I’ve never done that before. He picked grapes from the vines and offered them to me. He also gave us bunches of grapes for the road,  when we left and bottles of water. I loved sharing gardening stories with him. 

Our room was amazing. Best view of the bridge I’m sure from anywhere in town. We sat on our huge balcony and enjoyed the river and city view, as well as the famous stone bridge. The shared bathroom was fine. The place was very clean with good AC and excellent wifi. A five minute walk from the old town. Very quiet at night in our neighbourhood. 

Would not hesitate to stay here again. We were able to get our laundry done for a small fee. 

If Emir asks if you want breakfast, say yes!! It was an extra charge,  but so over the top amazing. The plates kept coming out full of enticing food, so artfully arranged and served with flair. Our breakfasts were a memorable, culinary experience. Served in the courtyard under the shade of the apricot tree. Everything is organic and he takes great pride in this. 

Flavourful Bosnian coffee, rose juice, meat, eggs, bread, mozzarella and tomato salad, Feta cheese and grilled zucchini that would melt in your mouth. Mushrooms. Homemade mayonnaise. Everything was garnished and flavoured with herbs. We finished off with homemade, apricot jam on our bread. Absolutely amazing!! 

This is where we will stay, when we return. You should stay there too!! You are missing out on lovely, warm, Bosnian  hospitality if you pass on this gem.

Amazing amazing stay with Emir at the Goa Guesthouse

All trip frustrations disappear from the moment you enter this property. It's like another world — quiet atmosphere, welcoming face with the big smile of Emir, the host. View, room, cleanliness, pricing - all was perfect.
The most valuable experiences were the HOST and his family. You have a feeling of genuine belonging to the family. Wide variety of not written offers makes you feel special; you are welcome to join the conversation, share his views of a road trip ( he was a biker), most beautiful places to visit, not in the tourist brochures. Just name it, he will create it. Thanks, Emir for this memorable, authentic experience. Ah, breakfast! It's a precious stone in the crown. Something that I never experience anywhere else.

People in charge

What an excellent stay we had with Emir and his family. He made us feel so welcome with an arrival cherry liqueur and some hilarious conversation, we started our stay in Mostar well! The city is stunning and he has the best view from his terrace of the old (new) bridge. I’m so sorry to leave this place but I’m already planning my next trip back. I’ll be staying with Emir at Goa for sure!! Hvala Emir! Merci beaucoup :) Rona, Edita and Finn xxx

Home from home!

I usually totally avoid accomodation with a shared bathroom, however this place is fantastic for cleanliness, hospitality and location! The owners are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast is amazing, served in the little courtyard with beautiful plants and an apricot tree in the centre. All the food is home made and you get so much for your money (€2 per person).  The views of the bridge is amazing too and it's only a short walk to the old town. I would highly recommend staying here for a few nights.  A trip to Kravis Waterfalls is only a short drive away too.

Perfect 

Our first visit to Croatia and Bosnia-Hercegovina and we love it.   But of all the wonderful things we have seen and people we have meet so far the stay in Mostar is the standout.
Emir and his wonderful family have made us feel like we not just guests, but genuine friends.
Goa Mostar is a fabulous guesthouse. We came for two nights, and ended up staying for seven. Each time we extended  we had to change rooms, but it was seamless and effortless because of our wonderful hosts.
The view of the Stari Most (Old Bridge) from the room is sensational.  Watching the Bridge jumpers was a highlight.
The 5euro breakfast with Bosnian Coffee was value plus!  And it was fresh out of his garden.
Emir was also a super guide taking us on a day trip to the sights outside of Mostar in his sporty Citroen car. We left at 10, got back at 6 and had a ball.
We shared a love of music and both agreed that the Music of the 70’s is still hard to beat.      
Without doubt the nicest place I have stayed in a very long time.
As the famous Molly Meldrum would say - “Do yourself a favour,”. - if you are an Aussie you’ll know what I mean.
PS: They even do your laundry for 5€ - all perfectly clean and folded by the end of the day.

Room with a View - and a Super Host.

We stayed for one night in a studio apartment. There were plenty of facilities in the apartment and if you stood at the door to the terrace you got a wonderful view of the bridge. The owner offered us a Bosnian breakfast for 5 euros each. We got plenty to eat and drink even if some of it wasn’t quite to our taste buds. It was in a good location with parking and close to the old town.
