Overall, this is a fine property. I had terrible experience with the WiFi, so that really colored my experience.
If the hotel WiFi is not an issue for you,
you should be very happy here.
The location is good. The accompanying breakfast is fine. Not 
fantastic, but more than adequate.
To the left as you exit, about 100m is a
terrific store named Amko.
This town totally closes on Sunday.
I stayed 8 days = far too long! 3 days
is the maximum needed.
It’s anywhere from 25-40 minutes drive to the airport.
I highly recommend taking the cable car up Trebevic Mountain and hiking at the top.
The receptionist Linda is terrific.

Overall a good property; i had serious internet issues.

When in Sarajevo, I recommend Hotel Kandilj. It's small and quiet but just a five-minute walk from the hubbub of old city Sarajevo. The staff accommodated our need to store luggage as we hiked for a week between stays. No need to stay at a glassy, fancy hotel in the shopping district. This place seems just right.

Helpful staff, terrific location, affordable, friendly breakfast cook

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a room on the top floor. It took a couple of minutes to find the place as it is tucked away in an alley behind two gates, however the location is excellent close to old town (300m). The staff was super friendly and available 24/7. Our room was small but cosy and clean. Neither the house nor the decoration were modern but for me that was the best part as the atmosphere was unique! The shower had good water pressure and the AC worked excellently however was a bit noisy. The location was also quite quiet. Breakfast was served in the basement and there was a lovely lady preparing omelettes and Bosnian coffee at request. The only thing that bothered us was that there was no blinds in the ceiling windows. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend!

Value for money, loved our stay here!

We loved our stay at this quaint B&B. We took the bus near the airport and this bus stops just about 2 mins away from Kandilj. It's located among the residential area but just about 2-3 mins walk out and you are among shops. It is also near to the old town. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room by the staff. Room was simple, cosy and clean. Breakfast was filling and ended with bosnian coffee. You can help yourself to the coffee and tea anytime. Staffs were helpful and provided us with good info. We also used them for transportation to Jahorina. Overall it was a great stay.

Relaxing Stay

Everything was just perfect,the people working there are gentle and kind,the rooms are clear and comfortable and they even made an exemption for us since we had a dog so we could stay with him. Plus point for the room where we had breakfast,so lovely👌🏼 See you next time when we visit Sarajevo

We were made very welcome in this small hotel with a B&B atmosphere, 2mns from the old town.
Good Wi-Fi, food breakfast and a welcome little courtyard for outside sitting were much appreciated.
Definitely recommended!

Friendly little hotel

Great staff, excellent breakfast, good location for Old Town, the cable car and Sarajevo Brewery which is worth a visit. Kandilj is across the river a short walk from the Old Town. There's a supermarket just down the street from the Pension.

Very enjoyable stay

Very comfortable,  close to town.
Staff friendly and could not do enough for you, great breakfast.
Clean and warm.
Near to local supermarket and restaurants.
I would stay here again. I stayed as part of an Exodus trip.

Nice place to stay

I stayed for 4 nights and it was a nice place with a large, clean room. The bathroom was also large with good water pressure. Wifi was a bit weak in the further rooms but still worked. Breakfast was good with a good selection and omelettes made fresh if you choose.
Location was great, walking distance to most sights and with a small supermarket nearby. Recommend this pension and would return.

Nice room in a good location

Excellent location near Bascarsija and Sarajevska Brewery, spacious, comfortable and clean apartment, large bathroom, excellent breakfast with real Turkish coffee, friendly staff, free parking, fast WI FI.
