I stayed there initially for the location but was overwhelmed with the service. I was in desperate shape with my credit/debit card not working and the young woman went so far as to call -on her phone- for me and help me work it through. Then she was an excellent cook, as well!  The other cook -when I complimented her salad- said it was made with, “Fresh vegetables and love”.  Fantastic place I cannot recommend highly enough.

Amazing location and best staff ever!

Charming small hotel in the city center, close to museum and cafes. The hotel owners  were extremely kind, as if we were a family, and fulfilled all our wishes and exceed our expectations. Family Hotel where all family members are included in service. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Extremely clean rooms and very good quality of home made food. The best breakfast ever, like in a 5 stars hotel. We already decided to come again. Warmly Recommending ❤

Easter Holidays in Trebinje

Marianna and her family are delightful, they helped guide us into the pedestrianised area and made us very welcome. The Goulash Dinner was fab. Daughter Zoranna speaks great English, Perfect location for exploring the old town - go stay there it is fab and good value.

Friendly and Welcoming Family Run Hotel

I had a short one night stay at this lovely hotel and wished I could have stayed longer. It is one of the most welcoming places I have ever stayed in.  This combined with the neat, super clean room, comfy bed, reliable wifi and amazing breakfast (the special toast was delicious!) makes it a great place to stay when visiting Trebinje.(It is ideally located within the walls of the lovely little old town.)

I ate in the on site restaurant and enjoyed a tasty meal with a very nice glass of local red wine to accompany it.

There was even a thoughtful gift of local rakia given to me on my departure. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, Mariana.

Highly Recommended

We spent a couple of hours in Trebinje, on our way to Mostar, from Dubrovnik. And we were quite sad we couldn't stay for longer.  
We had lunch at the hotel's restaurant,  the "gourmet burger ",which was absolutely delicious and a total bargain,for the huge portion we received. 
Also,the lady who took our order was extremely nice and friendly, smiling all the time.  
Overall, the city was quite lovely and we enjoyed our brief stay. Totally worth it.

Best lunch in our tour through the Balkans

We stayed for one night...if we hadnt already booked a house in Montenegro...we would have stayed for a week! Clean...superclean rooms, great breakfast(included in the modest price) and the friendliest hosts you can imagine. This wonderful hotel really set the standard for the rest of the trip!

An absolute gem!

Unfortunetly they were full when we visited. They let us use the WiFi so we could look for another place. Came back for dinner which was really nice. We ate in the small courtyard. The food was good, the prices very reasonable and they were really friendly.

Where to start. Hands down the most lovely hotel I have ever stayed at, and due to the nature of the location (a pleasant small town that is in the shadow of its touristic neighbours) you simply won't find such gems in many places.

It is a quite small family-ran hotel. Upon arrival I was greeted as if I had joined the family, introduced to the family members (staff) and made extremely welcome. You can have breakfast any time you like, just tell them what you want and it will prepared by the family.

They will serve you the breakfast to the table and make sure to check if there is anything else you need. I was also served their self-grown tomatoes, which were really tasty. Hospitality to the max on every level. 

Typically for the country, the prices are extremely affordable for tourists from other countries. I was staying in a big room with 3 beds for a fraction of the price such a room would cost elsewhere. The only minus was that there were no windows in this room (it was in the attic and there was only a sliding trapdoor in the roof), but I am definitely not intending to complain about this considering everything else!

Internet also works well, which is important in non-EU countries for a EU traveller. 

Great central location, at a street with nice ambience at summer nights. 

Cannot recommend this place highly enough, both this hotel and the town itself which is completely undeservedly in the shadow of Dubrovnik, which draws much more tourists, is 5 times more expensive, and the service and atmosphere are nowhere as nice.

Incredible experience

Did not stay at the hotel, but did eat at the restaurant.   Really really enjoyed the trout dinner that came along with potatoes, bread and spinach.  Best meal I had on my entire trip.  They also offered homemade wine, which was absolutely outstandanding.  The host and waitress were amazingly friendly, and service was good.   Entire meal was 16 marks, less than $10.   Would visit again in a heartbeat.

Amazing food at restaurant

The bedroom was very big and clean, the staff were great and professional, nothing too much trouble, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Everything was superb, the location was in the centre of old town.
