Good location, 20 minute walk to Praia do Forno and right next to Praia dos Anjos. Few minutes from the centre and all the restaurants and shops. Room quite basic but overall good value for money. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Good location

Stunning beach with incredible rock formation. Spectacular place to spend a few hours. It even has it's own waterfall! Naturists are to the left and also in the second cove to the left. No one bats an eyelid at nudity. 

Magnificent beach

Arraial do Cabo is a great place for those who, like me, love clear waters, scuba diving and snorkel. Its a small fisherman village, without the "charme" of Buzios, but, in my opinion, with the beauty of the people and the best beaches in the "lakes region".
The Hotel is a splendid old Beach Hotel, two blocks from the pier, in a very nice street. 
They serve great breakfast, rooms are OK - private bathroon, frigobar-flat tv and some rooms with air conditioned- for a good resting night after being in the beach all day long.
Every year I spend some time in Arraial and I always choose this place. Ana, the owner, and all the hotel crew are great and very helpful.

A Lovely Beach Hotel in a Great Location

My friend and I came to Arraial do Cabo unplanned from Rio, we jumped on the bus and turned up with no where to stay. While trying to find a hostel to stay in I stumbled across this nice little hotel. There was a very friendly and helpful man behind reception, I explained our situation and he told us where there were some hostels, and also that they had 1 room for the night left. After going to the hostel to find out if they had any beds and the cost we decided to stay here as the cost of the room was only a little more than a dorm bed in the hostel. It's a very nice little place to stay with great character. The room was nice and simple with en-sutie, the breakfast had a good selection of fruit, cakes and hot food. The orange juice was as fresh as you can get. They even served waffles with maple syrup. He recommend which beached to go to and when and to do the boat trip which they also booked for us.

Rescued for the night

Nice presentation with no frills but very nice people working there.  Rooms are simple, though very clean and tidy.

Breakfast was a surprise - real pancakes and maple syrup! (Apparently the owner lived many years in the States). Certainly a strong point for me at the hotel.

It is close to the beach and to the pier where the boat tours happen.  Also close to the restaurants in town, which was great for us, as we were on foot during our stay in town.

Definitely a thumbs-up, especially for the service and the food.
