Stayed in Pousada Aqua during my 3 weeks in Jericoacoara.
Was traveling solo and really appreciate to stay in that place where I felt like home.
The Pousada is kind of rustic , very well located and quiet. Direct access to center , restaurants and beaches. 
I really liked my room (Coco) upstairs with terrace , hammock and sea view💙.
I really loved the team and the owner Fernanda they were always available and really kind with me.
At night they have somebody for the security so you really feel safe when you come back late.
Was able to practice my yoga on my terrace or to invite friends for a drink. 
The Pousada don't make breakfast but they send you to a little cafe beside that I love Jeri Ju💜Best food, fruits and Tapioca!
I really recommend to stay in that Pousada during your stay in Jeri. Its central, friendly, relax and chill.

My Pousada for 3 weeks 

We were staying in one of the rooms on the top floor overlooking the sea. We had a large balcony with table and chairs and a Paraguayan hammock.The room had air conditioning, LCD TV and refrigerator with beer and soda at an affordable cost.The bathroom was spacious and bright but the door was wooden, and the railing and bar closed because it worked.Although they have free wifi the signal is not.The breakfast is very good, served in a restaurant that is in the same block as the inn.The central location, on the same street, is full of restaurants and bars.The hotel is 2 blocks from the beach.

Simple but comfortable.

We arrived with a few friends for a reservation via the web from a trusted site where we opted for an air-conditioned room, of course due to the local temperatures, however at the time of registration we were designated an air-conditioned cottage.At the time of asking for explanations we had to wait for 40 minutes for the person in charge who finally failed to deliver the solution and ended up communicating with his boss.This person turned out to be very rude and disrespectful, insulted us by phone for 10 minutes and insisted that we had made the reservation wrong so we were charging what corresponded even though we already wanted to stay at the place.Finally after 3 hours of waiting we agreed to a no-cost reservation solution, which obviously after the bad guys we did not want to accept the solution we were waiting for in the first place and no-one was ready to insult our tourist.

Disorganized

I also stayed at Pousada Aqua and I'm one of the unfortunate people who slept with the rats and their droppings, and the bats simply don't step on the ceiling and the floor of the room, leaving droppings under the dresses, behind the bed and on the sheets, and for those who want them, I have several photographs that prove it, and whether they're bats or mice, a customer shouldn't be in a room with animal droppings.

About the mice

We entered the room from the previous reviews and to tell the truth we were very scared. I tell you our experience: we decided to go to Jericho a day before we booked. We were welcomed in a room on the ground floor. We are welcome. We leave the room and we are contacted by a family who tells us about a dirty puddle and some pets on the bed and on the ground, probably mice. We get up in a panic, and in fact, the situation was not inviting at all: bedside cakes and a broken glass. We decide to stay anyway: the owner guarantees to solve the problems and to find another place if we are dissatisfied.

Average, but very good for commitment.

I'm writing after another blank night at the Posada Aqua. I'm assuming that we booked a whole week at a cost of 600 euros, a very high price for what it offers: - upper room, sea view means that the room is on the first floor instead of the ground floor and the eye, after seeing the ugliest huts in Jerichoacoara, in the distance also sees the sea - poor hygiene - towels that are linen and constipated, probably never changed since the posada exists - the wind broke the glass of a window, they cleaned the glass after two days and never replaced the glass - the lights only work if they apply to the floor, because, on the cake, the opposite of that I can sleep on the ceiling - the towels that the rats had to call the towels, probably never changed since the posada existed - the wind broke the glass of a window, they cleaned the glass after two days and they never replaced the glass of a mouse - the lights that the mouse is sitting on the table, because, on the top of the towel, the opposite of that I can describe the electrical

Too many mice and dirt to avoid.

It's a pity that the towel is nice and picturesque but the cleaning is really bad: there is no daily cleaning of the bedroom; they only washed the floors and changed the sheets twice a week, the bathroom they didn't even look at it to the point that I had to ask for toilet paper several times. Old stained towels, if I didn't ask, they didn't even change the ones I had used, and they were on the floor. But the really bad thing was to find around the bedroom so many small foul mice that are no doubt mice. On the dressing room, for and especially on the floor. Unpleasantly. I don't think there is any need to divulge the rumors that this has been made up. Whoever reads this will find their own conclusions.

It's terrible.

Very nice pousada extremely well placed, close to the beach and restaurants.Comfortable and refined rooms, all different and tasteful. My coco enjoyed a beautifully decorated small terrace (hamac chair table...) and with a superb view of the sea.The owner Fernanda is absolutely adorable and knows Jeri like her pocket!

Great little pousada for those who don't need frills (simple, clean, good vibe). Excellent bang for your buck (Jeri CAN be a little expensive). Super nice staff -- helpful and kind. The breakfast man is a hoot and is really endearing. He also serves great breakfasts. Great location (the bus drops you off right in front). Close to everything. A nice little pousada, simple but with good service. The staff is super nice, attentive, helpful, fun. The guy who takes care of your lunch is a real character and a real one. He made us laugh well and has us very good busers! Good location, especially for those who don't know Jeri. The bus stops right in front! It's close to a good quality report.

Otima pausada -- a real jewel -- a real gem of a place!

Due to these positive reviews our customers' expectations were very high, unfortunately overall the Pousada was disappointing due to some problems and inadequacies caused by unprofessional management. We immediately saw this big drawback we had made on our arrival at Fortaleza airport, we had booked the Pousada Aqua thanks to the excellent reviews we had read on Tripadvisor.
