Friendly and helpful staff and the hostel is well-located near the docks. Communal areas are nice and the kitchen well stocked. Areas for improvement would be that only 1 bathroom for all the upstairs dormitories and private rooms is far too few - it meant lots of waiting to use it. Secondly the breakfast was very basic and limited - definitely one of the weakest we've had in a month around Brazil. Overall a reasonable budget option (one of the cheapest we could find in Belem) but could be great with some improvements!

Friendly staff 

The hostel is well located. The beds are comfortable. It has a well-equipped kitchen and the breakfast is excellent, one of the best I've had in cheap hostels in South America. The WiFi has some problems. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Although it is one of the cheapest hostels in Belém, it is almost twice as expensive as it used to be in other parts of South America, but I suppose it's because Brazil is generally expensive.

Good accommodation.

I have to be honest - the beds are super comfortable and all the place is super clean but during our time there were all day some construction work going on. For the prize they could offer a bit more service like laundry and more choice at breakfast although it was nice. The public places are just not really comfortable.... Nevertheless, the owners are very helpful but reliable is only one... from the other staff you easily get wrong information which really sucks....

Hostel under construction is never nice

Super hostel. Great beds, good breakfast and clean.  Staff is very helpful and nice! The living room could use some refurbishing. Reason for not giving 5 is the price. 45R$ is in the expensive end for Brazil. 

Nice and clean.

The people at the hostel was very friendly and helpfull. I was quite scared of Belem the city so i asked them to drive me to a couple of places (paid of course) but it was still very nice of them to do it.
The breakfast was nice and the kitchen big, not that i cooked anything there but still.
The reason i didnt give it a 5 is they only have 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet and when you are quite many people you have to stand in que sometimes.

Helpfull staff!

It's a nice place, a power outlet accessible from every bed to charge the phone, chairs that close with a lock that's not provided in the room, lunch included, free water fountain available, cool staff, I'd be happy to go back if I went back to Belém.

What more can I ask?

I really enjoyed being in that hostel, it has a good atmosphere and the service provided by the owners (Breno and Fernando) and officials (Liliam) is excellent, I felt like I was in a cozy family home. The rooms have air conditioning, good mattresses, sheets and electric tomatoes for each bed, which I thought was a good fit. The breakfast is simple but very good. The only thing I have to claim is the bathroom, but they themselves recognize it and are trying to make improvements, in fact there they were doing renovations that didn't bother me.

What is most remarkable about this hostel is its location and above all, the treatment you receive from its owners and staff who work there, which I call extraordinary.The cleanliness of the room I would say is insufficient, the beds are quite old and for the guests who receive the only bathroom that has insufficient locking, although I have no doubt that soon all these shortcomings will be remedied due to the great dedication that its owners offer in their business.

 Improved

We had a great stay in the 10 bed dorm, at $R45 a night it was very reasonable. Lovely breakfast with regional foods. Transfer service to the airport ($R45) was arranged with the Hostel and was very useful. The importance of the tour of the hostel on arrival and a talk about what we could do in Belém during our stay cannot be overstated. The staff make this hostel a great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Belém. 

Friendly and welcoming 

This is a hostel that has everything a traveler can ask for, information, a well-equipped kitchen, excellent showers, security, kindness, availability, the place was clean, it has comfortable spaces to rest, very central, the center is just two blocks away.
