Cozy place, excellent service, simplicity, elegance, great location, everything organized and clean, a well-equipped kitchen and a waterfall nearby. We were very well received, we will return whenever possible. A super attentive team and willing to help with any doubts. We needed to stay a little longer and the owner was super kind and requested without charging anything. A wonderful, simple and tasty breakfast. The value of the daily juices makes the accommodation very worthwhile.

Amazing landing

Very small alleys, too small bathroom, with very bad showers, tight parking, cost of a much better accommodation, I chose based on app evaluation and I was disappointed, I think the evaluations were manipulated!

I was there on September 21, I had forgotten to rate, but in time it's worth the comment. We were very well received by the owner, who was very helpful at all times. The Chalé is very large and has all the necessary structure for a good stay. Access to the city is quick and easy. Another important point is the breakfast, very good and exclusive, served directly at the Chalé.

A good structure on the Chapada

It was exactly what we were looking for: a simple and cozy, quiet and pleasant place. Everything very clean, comfortable beds, warm shower, air conditioned in the room with a couple's bed, which for us was more than enough. Delicious breakfast served on the balcony of the cottage, a wonderful network to enjoy the nights and a kitchen equipped with everything necessary to cook. Attentive and helpful staff. We love it! We recommend and will definitely be back!

Simple but very cozy!

I picked the inn because of the reviews I read but I was very sorry. It was a more remote place with nature all around. The inn I stayed in had two bedrooms and a front room. When I got to the inn I went to take a bath because of the heat, during the same time I felt something climbing up on my leg, looking at it I saw that it was a cockroach and I had another one coming out of the hallway. I went to the inn staff and they apologized... stating that it was a problem due to nature I feel like telling the owner that a proper hole is a hallway with a locking system that would solve the problem.

We were welcomed by Mrs Zina, very attentive to us, nice place... my son loved to walk in the garden... in the pool... the very large inn... very nice kitchen... fridge... foam...

Cozy place

Mrs. Zina welcomed us very well. The place is very welcoming and very comfortable. Breakfast served in the cottage is super intimate, it's super tasty and provides food for the walks, etc. One day we went out for a walk at 6:40 a.m. We told her in advance and agreed, and our coffee was served ahead of time so we could make up our minds. These details and efforts make a big difference. Our last day was 12/06, Valentine's Day. They gave all the couples a very sweet and tasty kit with brownies. I highly recommend! We loved our stay there.

Just a quick review while I enjoy my breakfast on the porch of my lovely little cabin outside the National Park at Chapada dos Guimaraes. I stumbled on this place by accident, as I was late making arrangements for my stay in the area. I thought I was paying a bit much for a room. What I got was a cabin with beds enough for 6, a full kitchen, AC etc. It's just 200 m off the main highway, 1 km from the charming little town centre and 10 km from the park entrance. The family that runs the spot is very, very nice and even though I don't speak Portuguese, we understood each other.

This was important when the glass cover on the stove shattered, leaving glass all over my cabin. You can stay in town, but why? Sleep with the chickens and the charm here

A day isn't enough

This hotel is Ok, per 2 person room with AC they charge 120 real  (60 USD) if to ask discount and 130 without discount, 100 real per room with fan and 90 real with discount. Pousada has Wi-Fi and good big breakfast, situated in center of small city Chapada dos Guimaraes. In next day we found, that in Pousada they have much biger rooms, probaly should ask at time of arrival in hotel. Pousada Rios offer directly big rooms with 2-3 beds, but that we were there, they had problem with Wi-Fi, it was not working. In hotel Rios rate is cheaper, and also try to bargain they are doing discounts.
