Charming place to enjoy the island in local style.  The property is located at Vila do Trinta.  It's between Vila dos Remedios and the Port. People are very cool, friendly and totally laid back. Ze will be waiting every morning with hot coffee, pão de queijo, bread, tapioca with cheese and ham, omelette, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, a variety of juices and cake.
He is also the priperty handyman and will be ready to assist you with anything you might need.
The rooms are clean and tidy.  Big LCD TV with a lot of channels (more than might need in a remote island) and AC are available.  The beds are spacious an comfortable.  Every room has it's own bench and hammock to chill out.
If you like to dine out there are many restaurants at the nearby Vila dos Remedios and if not you have a bakery, supermarket and liquor store within a 5 minute walk radius. There is restaurant called Noronha Natural which right next door.  This place offers the most equisite dishes I've tried at the island.  We went to some expensive places but this one kicked their buts.  Try the shrimp hamburger.
One thing you might consider to bring (besides tons of bug repellent) are beach towels cause they are not available.

Friendly and relaxing stay

When my wife and I visited Fernando de Noronha, we had no idea what to expect. Good thing we booked at Pousada Magia because it was such a wonderful place to stay!

From the beginning after booking, we had great communication with the staff even though we don't speak or write Portuguese. Upon arriving to the island, a bus dropped us at Pousada Magia.

Elaina who runs the Pousada was so nice to us and even though we don't speak the language, we were able to get settled and know we were truly welcomed. Zé who tends the grounds was also very friendly as was Tania who prepared incredible breakfast each morning. Honestly the staff were so kind we felt very grateful especially since other friends we were traveling with had less awesome experiences at their Pousadas.

Overall can't speak highly enough of Pousada Magia, they are wonderful people and the place itself is quaint but very comfortable!

Clean, friendly and incredible breakfast!`

We arrived at Fernando de Norohna in the evening. Passing a variety of pousadas on the way we were somewhat apprehensive about the quality of our pousada. Magia was absolutely brilliant and made us feel at home straight away. Our room was spotless, spacious and had a great size bed! It had a lovely relaxed yet quirky vibe - topped off with some amazing hammocks outside the rooms. Perfect for lazing around before the day's activities. This is not to mention that the entire pousada is immaculate at all times and the cleaner herself is lovely. 

Daisy couldn't do enough to help us. The transfer from the airport was free and she pays for your taxi back to the airport. Her English is limited however she goes above and beyond to understand your needs and cater for them. Ie booking you buggys to drive around the island and making a conscious effort to keep us up to date with all the events going on around the island.

For us, one of the highlights of staying at Magia was the breakfast. There are all the standard Brazilian breakfast items (breads, cheese, ham, toastie maker, fruit selection, different cake each day). In addition there was Daisy's extras. First she would make you a smoothie/juice (pineapple and mint was our favourite). Daisy also makes you any tapioca and as many eggs as you want. Also she makes you banana with muscovado sugar which is fried and tastes incredible! Daisy genuinely seems to enjoy cooking for people and will always offer you seconds! Also she was happy for us to make sandwiches for lunch out of the breakfast selection and even wrapped them up for us! 

Added extras are sky tv, hot water in showers, free coffee and biscuits all day and free bikes available.

The location is also brilliant. The cost of a buggy per day on the island is quite high. We therefore only rented one for two of the four days of our stay. The location of
The pousada meant that this wasn't an issue. It's a two minute walk from the village, 15 min walk from the port and we managed to walk to Praia de conceicao in 20 mins. 

It was a great stay and we would definitely recommend! 

Brilliant stay 

I recommend this pousada specially for short stays and I would stay there again.

I spent just two nights there. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and the varied breakfast includes juices and tapiocas freshly made. A differential of this guest house is its balcony overlooking the sea, where there is one hammock in front of each room. Great for an after-beach lazy nap!

This pousada is a short walk far from the bus stop, a market, the Flamboyant square and the Varanda Restaurant. You can also reach the urban beaches (Cachorro, Meio and Conceição), but the walk is longer in this case.

The guest house’s downside is the bathroom that is really small, an inconvenient specially for longer stays. Another possible point of improvement would be the installation of blackout curtains at the door/window of the room, because too much light comes in through there.

A good choice.

Hotel Magia was great, for FdN standards. There are no upscale hotels on this island. There is little infrastructure and lots of bugs (on the island in general). This pousada is in a better location than many of the other pousadas we saw...there's a grocery store a 5 min walk away, a main square with restaurants and stores a 10 min walk away, and there's a nice view of the ocean from the back room (there are 3). There's a really cuddly cat who lives on the property, and tons of big toads (we also were joined by a giant crab on our back patio one night!). The owners and people who work there are very nice, but don't really speak English. However, due to the nature of the type of people who travel to this island, there was always at least two Brazilians fluent in English. There are 3 rooms all with balconies. Breakfast spread and coffee every morning. A very good financial value (aka cheap for what you get!). I'm glad we stayed here.

awesome location, typical FdN pousada

We had 2 of the three rooms for a week.  Daisy and the team did everything for us from helping s get a beach buggy, tours, transportation to and from the airport(included in the price).  Rooms are simple but clean.  SAFE as nothing disappears even when we kept the key in the door all day/night as well as items outside all night.   Thy served breakfast literally any time even after our adult children first woke up at noon after partying into the wee morning.  Location in almost dead center and walking to some local grocery stores.  OK first thing you have to know is if you think the island is inexpensive because it is mostly a national park, you are wrong.   The island and the vast majority of the guest homes (Pousada's) are simple 3-5 room houses, no full time staff, no amenities however they are great places to spend some time.  The entire island is TOTALLY safe.  Son left backpack at bar with wallet and computer--it was all there the next day.  When we go back, Pousada Majia is our only location we'd stay. Simple, Great Staff, Super friendly and helpful

Got to say any place with a roof on this magic island would have been fine for sleeps but Magia was a good option. Clean rooms with the best aircon - it was quiet and kept the room cold. Bathroom was simple but fine. Staff was friendly and not there all the time but it didn't matter, we had keys and it had coffee, tea and some snack on a table 24/7 so all good. Location was also good, not far from the 'town' and beaches. Great value! Oh and the tv had a good choice of international channels!
