I booked my stay through Booking.com and messaged them about airport pickup. Unfortunately no one replied. I took a taxi from the airport and it is about a 5 minute drive to the hotel. 

Upon arriving I was warmly greeted by Rose. My room wasn't quite ready so Rose showed me around. The hotel felt like a treehouse. There is a common space with a kitchen area and balcony. In the afternoon there is coffee, tea and cake for all guest. There are restaurants, shops and a small beach in walking distance.

My room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning unit worked like a dream. There is very hot water in the shower and you have to remember to pull a lever to get it flowing. 

Unfortunately the wifi was out the entire time I was there. Breakfast is good and the lady that cooks is sweet but didn't speak any English so we used basic greetings most morning. 

Finally please make sure if you have food that it is sealed up because ants are quick to appear for any food.

Very homey 

First of all: Fernando de Noronha is a wonderful place where only few (perhaps two) hotels are really outstanding. All the others are hardly comparable with US or European standards. We spent few days in a luxury Pousada (Triboju) and then we moved to a terrible one (Filò) that we disappointingly left one day later moving to Flamboyant, which was a very nice one, located in the middle of "downtown Fernando" and with superb staff. The ladies were supportive, smiling and they hosted us like we were their friends. The room was on two floors with comfortable beds, two TVs, two A/C, good Wifi connection and enough space to accommodate four people. The only negative point was the wall thickness and the soundproofing of the room; nothing really serious, anyhow. (just damn cock-a-doodle-doo....)
Breakfast was good with quite a wide selection and the lounge at the entrance allowed you to cook whatever you want to cook.
I do recommend Flamboyant Residence because it is definitely above the average of the Pousadas that you will find in Fernando.
There's space outside to wash and hang-up your clothes.

Great for Fernando de Noronha

Pros: Amazing location in vila dos remédios. Good spacious rooms (rare for Noronha). Wifi works. Nice staff. Cool lounge. Everything you might need at a very cool price.

Cons: Lots of stairs and dirt on the entrance.

Excelent for its price

Stayed here for one week on a "mesanino"(one-and-a-half level) room. Location is just the best available on Vila dos Remedios, close to eveything you´d need here, including restaurants, minimarket, bus stop right across the door, etc.
Room was very spacious and in good shape, beds highly comfortable and we had two split A/C´s plus two Sky TV´s so we didn´t have to fight with our teenagers :) Wifi service was OK.
Breakfast just great, if you happen to be spoiled by Nino -Italian chef in charge of cuisine- then you´ll get several things cooked to the order, fresh squeezed varied juices/vitamins plus just baked cakes or danish, each and every day. These are usually available after 5 PM too, which -believe me- is a great plus if you want to relax with a cup of tea or coffee on the wonderful terrace after a long and exhausting beach day.
Some people complain about being hard for the elder or disabled to access the main entrance which is true, but Noronha is like that almost everywhere, and would bet staff´ll be glad to assist and help on that.
Having been on the island before, would not hesitate to return and recommend, as price/performance are well above Notonha standards.

Excellent location, great facilities and staff.

Much better than expected.  Room with an enchanting view of the lush surroundings.  There only six rooms, yet there is a grand lounge with a huge balcony.  The outdoor breakfast area is pleasant.  The lady is in charge.
