We stayed 3 nights and were relatively happy with the hotel. I'm French and if I compare with european standard it was a simple hotel, clean and cheap. For the price comparing to the other on the same road it was a good deal. Furnitures and building look old and not modern at all to me but as long as it was clean and we could sleep that was the most important.
Location: excellent, 1 min to the beach, 3 min to local market. The best place to stay  as there are a lot of activities day and night
Room: very spacious, TV (bad signal), aircond, plenty of space for lugagges, bathroom was very decent. Bed was confortable. The only bad point is the sea view room: you don't really sea the sea because of the trees and it's a bit noisy untill late.
Cleanliness: good, bathroom was very clean, towels and bed linen as well
Breakfast: typical brazilian breakfast (watermelon, melon, salty food, dry buiscuits, fat cakes)...no sweet food so it was disappointing for me.
Staff was very helpful and polite.

Tips: we stayed 3 nights and negociated a discount, and when we left we had another discount because we paid by cash. When you exit the hotel, there is a italian restaurant 2 min by walk which is excellent.

I would recommand this hotel for people who wants to save money and don't expect a luxurious hotel. 
We would probably go back to this hotel and definitly recommand it to friends.

Perfect location at an affordable price

we were there for 5 nights, the location is good: right on Beira Mar, close  to restaurants, exchange offices and the Beira Mar market. We were allocated at the back: the room was spacious, but with no window. It was a bit dirty as well (we found 2 cockroaches, one dead in the bathroom, the other, unfortunately, alive..). The staff only speak Portuguese, and, in the end, doesn't seem they could really be bothered with being of help. the internet connection doesn't work (but you don't get a refund, if that's the case). Not a big choice of channels on the tv. The breakfast was nothing special. If I go back to Fortaleza, I will rent a flat: that's the best choice, value for money.
