I enjoyed staying here. It's in a good location and has a really nice pool, outdoor area, bar and a co-working space. The people there were really nice. The bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi was fast and the air-conditioning in the room worked. In some ways, this almost felt like staying at a resort.

Unfortunately, like many of Selina's hostels that I've stayed in, it seems like the owners had big plans for this hotel, then got through three-quarters of the construction and just stopped. For example, the hotel backs onto a noisy main road but there is basically no insulation or soundproofing on the windows. I was on the fifth floor and had to wear earplugs to block the noise from the traffic during the night. Also, the locker for my bed could not be closed because the latch wasn't built properly.

The breakfast was OK but nothing special, and the restaurant food was average with nothing really local on the menu.

Has the potential to be a great hostel but building quality lets it down

Good location wrt restaurants and bars. Nice common areas and pool, breakfast is ok (choice between the top 3 combos if included), staff is friendly. The room is ok, bathroom a bit old and the hot water just a trickle. My biggest issue is the noise from the street, I was on the 6th floor and it was extremely noisy all night long, it seemed like there was a drag race of motorbikes and trucks outside, never slept so bad in a hotel before.

Ok standard, very noisy street

Been there five days in january, the hotel/hostel is understaffed, crowds of ppl making a hell of a noise, front desk girls not so friendly and clearly unwilling to work which brings to a lot of queues just to have a check-in or ask a simple question. During my stay, I changed room for my last three days stay in a six bedroom shared dorm and no one ever came to clean up the room, the bathroom and tidy up the bedrooms of the previous guests, not a single day. 
What's worst is that, unfortunately, while making the reservation on booking, the search engine changed the dates I've been looking for to February, a month away, so I made a new reservation, check in for that same day I booked, which was a few hours away; I tried several times to appoint the fact that it was an unwilling mistake, obviously, gently asking to cancel the wrong booking without any fee to which they just answered, every single time, to contact booking, from booking to contact the property and from the property to contact booking, since they couldn't do anything from the front office (utter non sense and crappy excuse since I work in tourism and with booking too and I can just cancel whatever reservation I want in case the guest send a cancelation request with a proper reason 🙄).
 End of the story, they just charged me, a month away, for my wrong reservation, such an unhelpful and mediocre service place.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The rooms are dirty and old. The telly didn't work and any channel that did was fuzzy and couldn't watch. 

The bathroom was leaking water from where I have no idea. And even after a shower I still felt dirty. 

Check in took FOREVER. and when we did have questions the staff were not helpful at all. On coming down to go for dinner we stood at the reception for near 10 mins whilst the staff didn't acknowledge us at all. Extremely rude. 

We had breakfast included so we went for this.... after looking at most of the tables we picked the cleanest one we could find and not the one next to the broken plate on the floor. Shards of this plate were scattered everywhere. 

I would never stay here again.  There are far nice hotels up the street. 

The location is the only good thing

We didn't plan to stay at this hotel, but were sent here from another hotel which over-booked. We initially weren't happy as it wasn't what we had planned. Yes it's a little run-down,  but eventually my imagination began to indulge on what it must have been like 40 years ago and I began to enjoy it's faded-glory charm. The outdoors area is huge and lovely (if you are there in summer). The breakfast is average, similar to what we got in other budget hotels (eggs, sausage, fruit, bread) but served by an aged butler with a bow-tie in what probably used to be a grand dining room (I found this charming). The room was perfectly clean and well arranged when we arrived (they got about 2 minutes warning that we were coming). They are very spacious for two people.  

However, the window pane/glass is very thin and we can hear every noise from outside (despite us being on the 5th floor). The first night I slept soundly (I was very tired) but the second night i had a lot of difficulty sleeping due to the noise outside, once I eventually put ear-plugs in I went to sleep. I think the noise is worse on weekend nights due to disco-music from a near-by establishment. 

The bed sheet was very thin and kept slipping off.

It reminded me of the movie "Hotel Budapest"

A faded glory

I'm still here (night 3/4). I was going to give it 2/5 but being served utter tripe (about 80% fat in the foods), it put me over the top.

Rooms were unclean when we arrived and some other family members had to change room. Rooms looked like they haven't seen an upgrade since the 80s. Staff were unhelpful throughout. Food was godawful tripe better fed to pigs than humans.

A serious waste of money and utter disappointment to our trip in south America

Rubbish

i stayed there 4 nights on october 2014.  The hotel is advertised as 4 stars , but its not more than 3!
rooms are very old, when they gave us the room,  we got there, and was not even cleaned, or prepared for  guest, it was dirty,  opened bottles of water, garbage etc...  so they change us room.

My camera and passport were stolen from my room.  I was sleeping there,  and when my girlfiend got up to the room,  the door was open and light were on,  and my bag with camera and passoport  gone... there were no light on the corridor of the room,    . this was a big problem, i had to go to to the police sation,  besides of the cost of the goods stolen

the quality of the buffet  is very bad,  my grilfriend got sick, 
people at the reception are fiendly,  but the hotel is awful, so crowded.... if yo uare coming to see the falls,  stay on another hotel!

Never come back here!   don't stay here

Having read the reviews on here prior to my visit, to say I was apprehensive  about staying here would be an understatement. Although I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel wasn't lavishly decorated and the breakfast didn't blow me away but the rooms were clean and tidy and the food was more than suffice. The hotel is in a great location, there are buses that stop directly outside that go to the falls, there is a taxi rank virtually next door and there are plenty of restaurants to chose from of an evening (we had sushi one night from a place about 15 minutes up the road just passed pizza hut and it was amazing!) The staff in this hotel are all very helpful, even when at times the language barrier was a slight problem they would go out of their way to try and understand what it is you want from them. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable, there was a television in the room but I didn't use it, the wifi worked in the room and the lobby. The bathroom was fairly big and was clean, the rooms were basic yes but I expect that from what I paid for my stay. The pool area was surprisingly nice not that I used it very much but if I had the time and if the weather was more permitting I certainly would of. All in all although the hotel could do with a refurb as it does look a bit dated it was very clean, the staff were great and it is a good place to explore the falls from, you can't pay 2/3* prices and expect 5* accommodation
