Our family stayed at Hostel Nature for four nights over New year and held a family wedding on the site.  We loved it.  It's a peaceful and beautiful place.  Okay it's not a hotel but the budget accommodation is adequate - the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works, the showers worked, it's clean and tidy and the breakfast is fresh if perhaps limited.  Apart from the views and setting, what makes it a special place is the people - the staff. All incredibly helpful. They all chipped in to make our wedding day so memorable. There is a range of accommodation for everyone from camping, dorms to private rooms where we stayed. It has a bar with great cheap drinks and loads of facilities like a zip wire and surfing on the lake. Ideally you need a car but we got around easily enough with cabs - which they will book for you.  We travelled to the Argentine side to see the Falls - about a 30 minute drive but well worth it.  We had an unforgettable day walking to the vantage point to look down on the Falls and then getting the boat - which though a little pricey was worth every penny.  I would recommend anyone to stay at Hostel Nature.

Great place to stay

This place has accomodation options for everyone from camping, dorms and private rooms. It has a bar with great cheap drinks friendly staff and loads of facilities. There’s a pool, lake, zip line, kitchen and restaurant all on sight and it’s located near a short walk from dreamland and a short drive from the falls. There’s also a free shuttle from the main road to the facility 

Friendly staff, great facilities, great location 

We ended up staying at Foz do Iguazu for almost a week, mainly because the hostel Nature was so great. There is a small lake and a big garden with hammocks, a swing, a slackline and a pool, a perfect place for relaxing. The employees are great and so helpful! There are three small waterfalls nearby, it is a nice walk and you can swim in them. We booked a dorm but where upgraded to a private, which was very comfortable with big windows and a couple drawers. The only downside is that you need to take a bus to the closest bus stop, which means any trip to the city centre will take quite a while. On the other hand, the Brazilian side of the waterfalls is quite close. If the hostel borrowed/rented bikes, it would help with the transport.
 

A place to relax in the middle of the nature

Hostel Natura really is in the middle of nowhere.
Sadly we didn't have time to enjoy the surroundings as much as we would have liked to, as we were rushing around going to both sides of Iguacu falls.
But it was nice to have breakfast by the lake, and hear the birds in the morning.
The cabin was fine.
It is a little hard to find and get to - we had a car, which made it a lot easier.
I would recommend it if you have time to just relax there for a couple of days. Though when we were there the only meal available was breakfast - it was a very quiet time of year. There is a good cooking area, but obviously you need to be organized for that.
We went on an organized trip to the Argentinian side - worth doing.

Nature!

Booked this hostel based on great reviews everywhere and a Lonely Planet listing. It's outside of town which is fine with a supermarket 10min walking on a dirt road away. Our room was fine with double bed, bunkbed and ensuite but the walls to the neighboring room were ridiculously thin, even for hostel standards. 
Unfortunately the weather wasn't great (only about 15degrees celsius) and with open spaces everywhere not comfortable unfortunately. Also breakfast was provided outside. 
We had also read that the hostel has a restaurant and provides dinner at a cost which was not the case. Maybe due to low season?!
I also wasn't impressed with the kitchen area. The microwave needed a major clean and the cloths, etc looked filthy as well. With only one stove and one microwave I imagine the kitchen to get very crammed in high season with more people around.
We had planned to stay for 3 nights but moved out after the first into a hotel in town partly due to my friend catching a bad cold (and feeling cold all the time) and the bad weather which didn't make this place a comfortable one to stay at. 

Unfortunately this place wasn't for us.
