We stayed in April with my partner. It is close to the beaches, shops and restaurants although it is not located in the most touristy part of Morro. Very good breakfast and the owner, Nestor very attentive. The inn is located in the middle of a beautiful vegetation, and less than 20 meters from the Fonte Grande, Morro's historic attraction with over 200 years above. The cost/benefit relationship is very favourable to the consumer. It is 100% recommended, so don't hesitate if you are walking around Morro.

For my husband and I, it is the place we choose every year to rest and enjoy a comfortable, quiet place with excellent cleanliness and care and a personalized, abundant and varied breakfast.

We stayed in February with my partner. It is close to the beaches, shops and restaurants although it is not located in the most touristy part of Morro. Very good breakfast and the owner very attentive, provided us with advice and guidance on the spot. It is not a luxurious place but meets the requirements to relax after a day of beach and walking. Good cleanliness and proper functioning of the air conditioning.

Beautiful, wonderful place! surrounded by mango trees, a little-known breakfast served in front of your room with fresh fruit and homemade sweets. in a less central location than the tourist casino (but we're still talking about 5 minutes on foot!) quiet, surrounded by greenery and small shops. the rooms are clean and fresh rooms, the host is very nice and available in everything and for everything. highly recommended to live my life in a unique way

Pousada Caravelas has been a place worth admiring away from the chaos of the center of Morro but close enough at a time a quiet, impeccable, well-carried place with an exquisite breakfast, the best, without a doubt, in my two months of travel Nestor, the owner, has treated us with respect, kindness and perfect attention. It is a lovely place to stay. Congratulations to the entire Caravelas team.

Nestor served us very well, the breakfast was very satisfying and the room was adequate, it was in the center of Morro where prices are high, we paid 80 R per person, and I was recommended to stay in Gamboa, which is cheaper and less frequented.

The boarding house is not far from the harbour. You could save yourself the cost of carrying luggage by the Porters. WiFi would have been free, but it never worked during our stay of several days. The cleanliness could have been better. It was quiet. The staff didn't speak a word of English and were also quite sloppy. The breakfast on the terrace in the green courtyard was surprisingly good.

Simple relatively inexpensive accommodation

We stayed on Morro de Sao Paulo 4 nights and enjoyed this pousada very much. The breakfast (variation of fruits, cafe, hot chocolate, eggs, every day another great fruit shake, fine bread from the bacery) was served individually to our balcony. Our bed and the room was cleaned every day. We can absolutely recommend this pousada. Thank you! Greetings, Lena

Idyllic pousada with wonderful breakfast

We stayed only one night in August 2014 but liked it very much. Owners are very nice and friendly, they help you with their recommendations if needed. We even had the possibility of a late check out for free which was highly appreciated.

The place is clean, well located, wifi works perfectly well, breakfast is amazing !! The best we have had in Brazil so far.

I highly recommend this place.



Nice and friendly !

I've been in this little Pousada for only one day but I think it's a place to consult. La Pousada is located next to Fonte Grande in Morro de Sao Paulo, a strategic place because it's only a few minutes walk from the city centre but at the same time it's away from the noise.. the nearest beach is 10 minutes' walk from a path surrounded by nature.. and we love nature if we come to Brazil! The rooms are clean and conveniently maintained, the comfortable bed and bathroom is simple but with shower and toilet. There is free WI-FI in the whole establishment (very much if you want to stay in the room) and there is a small garden which we have taken care of after a day.
