Celia and Armando 02/07/23 It is a place of great peace and pure nature, surrounded by very green by the river, common area very well cared for, wooded. The chalet we stayed was the Biguá wonderful wide and 4 people because it has two rooms is one of the best, bed nice all very clean and smelly good sheets. Enchanting Place

We were there this weekend (27 to 29/11) and we fell in love with the place. The place provides total immersion in nature. And since there are only 6 chalets in a huge area, the place is perfect for spending a few days with the family in times of pandemic. Breakfast is an attraction aside. Everything is homemade and fresh. The chalets are very comfortable, far above other places in the region. The restaurant is closed because of the pandemic, but we got great tips from Rogério, the owner of the hostel, to order delivery food in the city, which can be consumed at the hostel's restaurant.

A spectacular place for nature lovers

Kindness is the word that defines the place. Starting with Mrs. Olinda and the owner of the place Cris. A differentiated breakfast. Variable, healthy and very tasty. If you're a bird lover come prepared, endless types are around the inn.

A real whim

Very nice place, several cabins, pool, lawn, football field, many birds and a great view of the sea arm. It has a place to keep the car. In the middle of nature, for those who want to relax, it is very good!

The Paradise

The pool is pleasant! The cabins are simple, but the beds are great! The bathroom is a bit crowded, but it can be bathed. The place is pleasant, with a beautiful garden, excellent and very beautiful! There is a hand of the understanding. Wonderful ointment! Great caqui and avocado. It's good to carry repellent. A reasonable breakfast, but it has a certain charm: a fried banana and sweet potato! Very cool! The car has to stay in the parking lot in front, so as not to spoil the beautiful garden! But that doesn't bother me. Dear, to my taste, but it's nothing!

Marcus and his wife, Mariza, are great hosts, she cooks well.

This place was very nice. We had diner here 2 nights and the food was de-li-cious! In the morning you wake up with the singing of the birds. The city iguape is unfortunately not so interesting. We didnt do any trails because the weather was very bad, but they must be beautifull. 

Very nice

If you're visiting the São Paulo State southern seacoast, don´t miss this quiet and beautiful "pousada" in Iguape, a poorly kept yet charming colonial town not too far from the border with the State of Paraná, about 150 miles from the city of São Paulo. The beaches in southern São Paulo State are usually underrated and although they´re not as beautiful and trendy as those in the northern coast, some of them can be ideal for an idyllic hideaway, like the long stretch of the protected Jureia beach up north or going south along the long beach stretch on Ilha Comprida towards Cananeia. Although not exactly a beach town, Iguape stands right in the middle of these two desert beaches. But don´t be mistaken, you won´t do anything without a car here, don´t bank on buses or public transportation as they're very erratic or non-existent. Also, stay away from the town of Ilha Comprida across the bridge from iguape. It´s overcrowded, dirty, touristy and tacky. If you're driving around the area, the Pousada Recanto das Aves is definitely worth staying at least a couple of nights to recharge your batteries amid the lush green of the Atlantic Rainforest. For R$ 250,00 a night for a couple you get to stay in a cozy wood chalet equipped with good amenities and there's a hearty breakfast that feels more like a brunch. And the gardens are so well kept you can sit at the top of the wood watch tower looking over the river that passes behind the hotel for hours on end just listening to the sound of different bird species that visit the place.  A must for nature and beach lovers on wheels. Also, if you're a fishing fan this is the place to be for river or deep-sea fishing. But you´ll have to rent a boat and a guide, which can turn out to be expensive. And very few people speak English around here. So brush up on your Portuguese.
