We spent 5 days at Casa Maestica, located in the heart of Boipeba Island, surrounded by nature. We loved it. The place is splendid, 5 minutes from the beach downstairs, the room we had was very beautiful (double room because we were 3), all made of wood to blend into the scenery. Natural shower, mosquito on the beds, breakfast at the top! The staff is super friendly, kind, smiling. And the owner, Christophe is so kind, full of good advice, always there to help us, he knows the island like his pocket. We spent 5 magical days.

Beautiful place in the wild Boipeba

We had a great time and always felt perfectly comfortable. The Pousada is in the middle of the green and you have a beautiful view of the sea in a few places. There are different footpaths to the sea, every 2 to 5 minutes. The breakfast is fantastic! There is a delicious selection and is served right in front of the room. Really sea shore recommended 🙂! The green paradise

Boipeba is already a magical place, and we were very lucky to stay at Casa Mestiça, located in the middle of this natural paradise. Walking distance from the beach and surrounded by trees and native vegetation, the place is a source of inspiration and relaxation. In addition, Christophe and Team (Claudia and Andrea) were great hosts, who made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the breakfast was simply amazing, representing the traditional cuisine of Bahia. We recommend anyone to stay at Casa Mestiça! Christophe, Claudia, Andrea, nous vous remercions chaleureusement et vous disons d'ores et déjà à bientôt!

Amazing place in the middle of the Paradise!

We Stayed in the room (very confortable and well decorated) facing the sea. Super big balcony with hamacs and very nice view in the forest (sea also you can hear it). You can sea Colibri in the morning which is rare/ amazing. The garden is very beautiful.
We wanted to stay 2 nights ...we felt so good in that place that we stayed 8 nights! 
Saint Clair was really welcome and even if we don’t speak Portuguese we could understand each other! It is also a place you feel totally safe, in very good hands.
Breakfast was amazing very tasty with every day new fresh juices, new cakes, fruits etc. You have a fridge in your room so you can keep things fresh which is useful.
Perfect place to relax and enjoy the island !

Quiet, nature and beautiful place!

Tough task is to define the energy and light of such wonderful people and place at Casa Mestiça. Me and my wife spent a week there and had chance to, not just stay at this magic place, but also enjoy time and friendship of the wonderful couple Carol and Saint Claire. Wonderful place surrounded by nature, and so close to the beach. Our room had a nice view to the ocean! Wonderful breakfast, conversation, care, Tai Chi Chuan classes on the beach at 6 AM! Simply amazing people that we´ll never forget, mainly because we plan to visit you guys very soon! Thanks a lot!

It's on! The place is paradise slightly high with the feeling of sleeping in the trees.

perfect and very quiet place

Saint Clair was such a nice and friendly host! Always helpful and going out of his way to show us around the island. The room was lovely with a nice balcony, on which we had a great breakfast each morning, and hammock to relax. The casa is just a couple of minutes from the beach and 5-10 mins from the restaurants in the centre of town. Given the quality of the hotel the price is fantastic - a great deal. Surely the best Pousada on the island. We had a wonderful time here and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Boipeba!

Wonderful place and lovely staff

This place is absolutely beautiful. The location is great - up in the trees surrounded by nature, but under five minutes away from stunning beaches. About five minutes away from town, too. Our room was tastefully decorated and had a huge balcony with hammocks where we could relax and where our breakfast was served in private. Saint Clair is such a lovely host and will go out of his way to make sure you have a great time on the island. The breakfast he provides includes juice, coffee, a beautiful fruit platter, a range of breads, yoghurt, granola, cakes. The whole thing is amazing value. Casa Mestica opens all year round, whilst a lot of other pousadas on the island are closed in winter. Boipeba is beautiful, the island way of life is very relaxed and the islanders all go out of their way to help you (honestly, not for money or business!) Ask an islander to show you the way when you first arrive, as Casa Mestica isn't signposted from where you get dropped off from the boat, and Google maps doesn't show the trails you need to take. It's about ten minutes walk. Note: You can't pay on card - bring cash unless you want to do an international bank transfer. Not a bad thing to say about this place - beautiful inside and out, great value, lovely people. I didn't stop smiling the whole time I was there. One of my favourite places we've stayed in nine months travelling. Thank you Saint Clair!


Beautiful sanctuary in the trees with lovely host

This beautiful pousada is located in a beautiful garden, the rooms are simple but very nice with a balcony and a hammock. A small table on which a delicious breakfast is served. And at night we hear the wind in the palm trees, the cigales in the evening and the sound of the waves. It is a wonderful place to rest, enjoy the calm and serenity of the place. In addition Caroline and St. Clair are very good hosts with little care for us (lemon tea and propolis to treat a cold). Despite 2 days of rain we had a really pleasant stay here. Thanks again.

It's an idyllic place.

The house is located in a lush vegetation where you can enjoy the singing of birds whistling at nightfall.
