The hostel is on the edge of the beach at the mouth of the bar, it has an amazing garden, a super intimate and welcoming climate, Leo the host makes everything very personal and pleasant. The breakfast is very good and served on the balconies of the rooms, Matheus who serves the coffee is very nice and pleasant. And the best are the doughnuts that stay around, making company and making it even more pleasant. We love it and we will come back.

Simple and amazing!

The attention is really very nice and kind. We stayed in the rooms that are next to each other and sound of a good size. Everything is very clean and very tasty. The place is prettier than what it looks like in the photos. If you notice that there is dedication, from the very good breakfasts to the request for data in the area. It is located in front of the beach and very walkable in the center, so it is ideal to be disconnected from everything but at the same time enjoy going out to eat or go shopping for anything you need. 100% recommended.

Since the booking I received a cordial and attentive attendance from Leo, this was a decisive factor for the closure of the suite. I booked the suite with a view to the sea and we were surprised every 4 days we stayed. Full breakfast, varied every day and the hyper-sweet attendance of Mateus, who gave us precious tips on tours and places we should know. The experience with the surrounding nature was another important factor because that was our goal! The bed and pillows are super comfortable and clean, a warm shower and air conditioning in perfect condition. I recommend and can say that it was one of the best accommodations of my life!

Surprising, charming and upbeat.

If you're looking for tranquility on your trip, there's no better place. Simple and cozy. Wonderful view. Excellent service and super attentive staff. If you have a pet (depends on size) they accept, but you can't leave it alone in the room. Sensational. We'll come back more often.

Quietness, coziness and peace.

Actually, I didn't even stay! When I contacted owner Kenner on whats, he was extremely rude and disrespectful because of a simple question I asked. I asked if I had a vacancy, he said the price of the day. In front of the answer and with the aim of knowing how much it would be for 3 people, I asked the following question for 3 people? In front of that he started laughing at my question and wrote the following answer where have you ever seen the world for 3 people? Please don't squeeze my mind! followed by the message I've given up answering you very much. Going through a situation like this while trying to schedule a necessary trip. Totally unnecessary for that boy's answer. I would never stay in a sad place where the owner would be so full of bad energy and unfairly and unjustifiably, but I never feel compelled to build a situation like this on the owner's face, but I never feel so grossly rude about other people, I never make any judgment about the situation, but I always feel absolutely wrong about the owner.

A rude and disrespectful hostess

Beautiful place, but the infrastructure has left you wanting (no air conditioning, no television, too much mosquitoes, no big mirror).

Landing

We loved staying here at Pouso da Mare! The owner Kener was great, the location is excellent and the ocean facing rooms were lovely! You can open your shutters and look directly onto the beach and ocean, plus it's up the beach a little bit so not many people passing by, very serene and I particularly enjoyed lying in the hammock, swinging lightly, watching the sea, the sand and the sky! The breakfast was lovely too, served either on your balcony or at the tables in front of the pousada, looking over the beach. The rooms have fans, good wifi, comfortable beds. It is a two minute walk to the beachfront bars and restaurants, and a ten minute walk (ask for the quick way around the back) to the main village which is inland up the hill. I think Pouso da Mare is the best place to stay if you want peace and tranquility while also having easy access to amenities. Also, if you walk to the very end of the beach you can then take a ten minute trail through the forest around to what I think is the nicest beach in Boipeba, Tassimirim. Thanks Kener and team!

We loved this spot

To my surprise, a few days later, the owner sent me a WhatsApp audio questioning my assessment in a rude way. The truth is, from the first moment at the hotel, I didn't like it. When I arrived to check in, the owner wasn't there, the employees didn't know I was coming and my room wasn't ready, even though I arrived at 2pm and the check-in was at 12pm. I texted the owner asking him to help me. Soon after he arrived and he blamed the employees, saying that they had forgotten. During my stay, I had few opportunities to get rich again, but whenever they did, I found the conversation quite inconvenient. However, the room was not ready, and I found it to be very convenient, and the room is located in the box, and the rooms are very clean, and the water and the bathroom are very nice, and I recommend it.

Owner with no idea

The two front rooms of this simple Pousada are on the best possible location on the island of Boipeba. The rooms are directly on the beach with hammocks on the terrace that are the ideal place for relaxing between swims. A excellent breakfast is served in the shade of large trees directly on the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner Kener Guerra is the perfect host. Because the Pousada does not have a restaurant Kener recomended restaurants that were excellent. The only drawback of the Pousada is that the rooms have no air condition only fans. This however was not a problem because of the constant breeze from the sea. Please also remember that Boipeba is a remote island and don't expect the comfort of a five star hotel.

Best possible location on the island of Boipeba

The Pousada is located very quiet and directly on the beach, but only a stone's throw from the centre of Velha Boipeba. The atmosphere is very cozy and the beautifully laid out garden, the cozy terraces and the relaxed owner of Kener also contribute to this.
