It can improve the comfort of the room, just details that do not compromise the stay, room 6 needs to put a curtain blackout and fix the TV, it worked, but when it was turned off for a long time, it only turned on when it pressed the power directly on the device. As for breakfast, it's very good, it could also add something else, like: natural juices, cheese breads and other fruits.

Excellent hostel, worthy of attention only in detail, but I would stay again.

The electrical voltage would vary greatly, something common on the island, it impacts everyone, but I must record, for this reason we were without water for a short period of time, very pleasant, participatory and kind staff, location close to everything, I loved it, I'll definitely be back.

Amazing days

I come through this message to express my total satisfaction with Pousada Yes. Very well managed by Mariana, and an excellent support from her collaborators Fábio, Pedro, José, Luana, Carol and Patrícia. I was hosted from November 20 to 27, 2022 with this team that is worth millions, an efficient and happy team, the result is a quiet and happy environment. Everything is very clean and meticulous, the breakfast is very well prepared and delicious. Congratulations to all of you for being part of this winning team.

A wonderful experience

La Pousada is good but basic. The best part is the location. There are towels and air conditioning. The breakfast is plentiful and good. It's full. In the afternoon you can have coffee also without charge. It's next to a supermarket and opposite a very nice place to eat. All the pools in the area are similar or a lower level. There is no hair dryer.

We stayed in the sea lion inn that belongs to the same owner and is located almost in front of yes. (The assessment is being done here, because the sea lion is not on TripAdvisor). Although we arrived with a large group, our check-in was quick and our room was made available ahead of time. The attendance provided by the staff was cordial. The accommodations were in line with the photos posted on social networks. Only a few points to improve: mattresses are not so comfortable, showers are not so warm, pool with leaves and needing to be vacuumed (we have chosen this group inn because of the pool) and the space for breakfast. The first morning was very confusing. On the second day the staff organized the guests' coffee hours, and it was so quiet.

The hostel has a great location, Wi-Fi connects well in all environments (rarely on Big Island) The staff was very much in demand, we arrived in a rush and as the room was vacant they immediately accommodated us. Spacious bathroom, hot shower and with good pressure. The room has a charming balcony with network and is quite spacious. It has a diverse breakfast and in the afternoon they serve espresso coffee and tea. The only thing to improve is the acoustics, as they had noisy guests running all over the hotel but the next day I saw the staff paying attention to them for all the noise. I recommend.

Well located

Horrible, lack of empathy and care for the customer! we couldn't arrive on Sunday 20/03/22 due to the storm that hit the entire south coast of RJ, with barriers, trees, stones and a banned runway falling from SP to Angra! we warned the owner that we would not arrive due to bad weather! we had to pick up a hotel in Angra on Sunday and we managed to arrive on Monday in Big Island! Yes hostel has no responsible person on the site, everything is com to the mainland and stays for it even! we had to pay without having used, without light, without bath, without any protection from the owners! total lack of consideration, empathy, the owners manage remotely without knowing what is happening on the site and they only give orders to trained staff! No one comes to the hostel that is not afraid of the horrors, the fury and the spirit of the Great Island!

Horrible, lack of empathy and cordiality!

Basically a really good hotel: well-lit and quiet little rooms with nice little balcony with hang mats, friendly staff, good location. Negative: WiFi only worked rudimentary, no English or Spanish knowledge of all employees (which I would expect from a middle-class hotel in a very touristic place...), breakfast completely unsuitable for people with celiac disease (which is of course a very individual problem). All in all, but highly recommended for a few days.

good basis for a stay on Ilha Grande

I booked this establishment to stay for the period from January 14 to 17, 2022, but the stay on the first day was already disappointing. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, as the receptionist was attending a couple, I kindly asked for permission to have a cup of coffee, and in a super rude and disrespectful way the employee spoke out loud in front of everyone at the reception that You CAN BECOME A CAFE AND MAY NONE. I was aware that as I had just arrived, I didn't have and didn't even want to take a coffee, I just asked for a cup of coffee while I was waiting, and I received such a response. And I unfortunately didn't host:
