We stayed in the room in front of the sea, nice to wake up and educate the sound of the sea. The bathroom is small, but for us it was good. The balcony is nice to listen to music from the restaurants. The breakfast has to be arranged to choose from one day to the next. They prepare it in the moment is fresh. There is also a pizzeria for the night, good price, rich pizza. Very friendly all the staff. By speaking Spanish, because it is not common on the island to find that they speak Castilian or English. We have very nice stay.

Estadía placentera is a placental stage.

We took two dishes to share, there was nothing in the plates, the dishes were presented individually, a mini serving of fish without accompaniment (just the decor) for 150 reais, ridiculous, unacceptable. We complained the servers didn't say anything, they just left. Service, none, no organization, be patient and repeat four times if you really want to be understood! We'll never go again.

The first thing that's important is that it's practically on the deck, so seeing the roads is not bad for the suitcases. The opposite if you like the silence is not good, we personally liked to relax a little on the terrace with the live music from the restaurant below. The room is very nice, it's not a big hotel, but neat and nice on the first floor there's also the terrace that looks out to the sea with a hatch included.

We definitely recommend it. We stayed 4 nights and were very happy. Anyway, I recommend that you stay in a room with a terrace because they are quite small and so it is more spacious. (Hotel advice: to deliver those rooms with the curtain open, gives a much better first impression). The rooms are very clean, the shower water is very good, the bed is comfortable and airy (only if the light on the island doesn't work, but everything else does, which in other hotels on the island doesn't). To highlight the sympathy and good make of Vanesa and the deliciousness of the breakfast, it is a very pleasant breakfast by the sea.

Very recommended: good location, good staff and a delicious breakfast.

Ihla Grande is a very nice place to spend some days, but unfortunately we booked at this terrible pousada. I know that pousada are very simple accomodation, but when it’s too much, it’s too much. I’m not complaining about the tiny, hot and noisy room ( it was supposed to be superior and we paid extra charge for that) I’m complaining about breakfast, so miserable and humble that you cannot even imagine. Forget fruit buffet or any other kind of breakfast buffet. On your arrival you have to fill a form, a sort of room service but in the dining room. No words to explain how terrible it was and the apathetic attitute of the staff on our disappointment: they could”t care less

Terrible place

When you get to Abrao, the least desired thing is to walk with the suitcases. Ideal is this posada, next to the pier.The view is beautiful, each floor has a balcony so you can have something out by the sea.The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable for a break after long days of excursions.

Location, breakfast and views.

The hotel is very close to the harbour where you get to the island, which is very convenient. The breakfast is very good, you can get a wide list of options and serve everything you mark. Very rich and ademas is served at the hotel entrance, facing the sea. The room is normal, it's okay. But the air, located on the bed, loses, what prevents it from being used, and there is no mosquito net in the window. The location is ideal.

The rest is normal.

This pousada is lovely, its close to where the boats stop so you dont need to carry your bags on the beach. It is located very well close to all restaurants and you have a view at the sea, the breakfast is also very good!

Great stay!

Ideal location: two steps from the port of Abraao and a few meters from the start of hiking. We were in the room with a sea view: clean and beautiful view. Small dej: small portion do not hesitate to make several choices. Staff: at the top! English/Spanish, do not hesitate to ask them for advice on the strolls and tours to discover the most beautiful beaches of the island.

We came down from Rio for a few days on the island and found this gem online. It’s to the left of the jetty and central to everything. The owner speaks English as does one of the receptionists , but google translate is your friend. Place is clean spacious and quiet in the back room. Host will help you with any recommendations for tours. Would stay again.
