Very good. It's improved a lot from previous comments. A magnificent find, morning coffee and top service. The location is far from the landings on the island, but with organization everything will be fine. We'll definitely stay here again.

Pearl of the Big Island

Beautifully laid out, welcoming, clean, with excellent attention, the girls are Argentine and always ready to help you, the location is good, a block from the beach and a few steps from the center.

The hotel is very nice, very well cared for by all the staff.The rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning and ventilation, a small refrigerator at the disposal of the guest.

It is excellent.

We liked the breakfast, the bed, the fact that we had a refrigerator, air conditioning, and we changed the towels every day. Besides, the restaurant Sorrentinas, which is on the top of the inn, is very good. Negative point: cockroaches! We had bad luck and ended up falling into a room that had cockroaches coming out of the bathroom drawer and from somewhere else we couldn't identify. We asked to change rooms but we didn't feel that the staff was in too much hurry to solve the problem. We had to stay in the same room for another night waiting for another guy to leave the next day so we could change rooms. I think the owner had doubts when I reported what happened (because I had photos and to prove it). It was very unpleasant. And we left the other room, and we felt the same kind of bad luck and we had to deal with the same kind of problem with the hostess and the videos.

Except for the cockroach room, everything else was good.

The hostel is cozy, but it needs to improve the support for the guests. Although it was well served, I missed some things. The cleaning service is not good, because I found the room a little dirty. The worst thing for me was when it was time to leave on Sunday. The boat leaves for Mangaratiba only at 5pm and the time to leave the room is at 10pm (I think most hostels do). There is no reserved place to store the luggage and after the day's walk there is no private bathroom for guests to take a bath. I only paid half a day to be able to use the bathroom in the room. I had to pay Flex boat to leave earlier. Although, the wi-fi works well and the breakfast is good. If you come from a suitcase, a nearby bathroom was nearby because the baggage floor was worse with sand.

The landing is very good, the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly, the morning coffee is well served, there is Wi-Fi, there is a restaurant that runs from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. (Sorrentine Lawns) I will definitely be back.

Landing quietly

The best days I've ever had on the Big Island, quiet hostel with lots of greenery near the rooms, the very attentive and friendly staff, Juan and Sofia. The super abundant and well served breakfast with affection by Cris. I'll come back and super recommend. ❤️❤️

The stay in Paloma Hostel was very cozy and delicious! The breakfast is amazing, the staff is sooo friendly and the room is very comfortable. They also have two cute cats and one lovely dog 😍 very recommended

Very cozy and friendly

Beautiful accommodation, the staff are very friendly and we were treated very well. Very good the restaurant and bar. The place is very nice, a few meters from the beach. Sofia's attention was outstanding, the nicest thing on the island.

I highly recommend it 100%.

The hostel is simple, there's no common area, simple but tasty breakfast, no TV in the room, normal service, the Wi-Fi signal dropped more at night, there's a restaurant that's highly sought after.
