A very beautiful pousada just outside the center, surrounded by a wonderful nature, so that even apes or squirrels come to the terrace.

Goods and services

Poor coffee, photos that don't match reality, too much mold in the room, lack of hospitality from the owner and staff, very bad pillows and towels.

We do not recommend

The hostel is very good. The room I stayed in we had to leave the window open to make the room feel better, but nothing that would take away the fun of the stage. The breakfast is normal and well served. One tip is to name the juice, because I always asked the girls in the kitchen what juice it was. The only thing I didn't like was the distance and the slope to get there.

I liked the drop.

Excellent accommodation, excellent service, simple and tasty breakfast, comfortable room, sleeping to the sound of the river running behind the inn, good location for those who have no problem walking on small climbs.

Very good!

Positive points: four-bedroom duplex, with room and bathroom at the bottom and a large room at the top, friendly and useful owner. Negative points: difficult access for people with movement problems or with babies. Basic breakfast, with bread, eggs, cheese, cake and two options of fruit and juice.

Guapuruvu landing

LOCATION: about 12 minutes walk from the ferry landing. FUNCTIONARY: Everyone very attentive, friendly and serviceable. I loved it. Lunch coffee: Made and served very affectionately. Simple but delicious. I always had juices, fruits, teas, cake, bread, scrambled eggs... deliciously. We didn't miss a RS.

Fitted

It's a very simple layout and the photos give a different impression. The breakfast is very weak, with little choice and the coffee shop employees with ugly faces to meet you when you ask for something. They couldn't get me a disposable glass. They put us in a room with shrimp cubs on the ceiling lining and we had two bad nights of sleep because it took them long to get the birds out of there. They seemed to think it was fresh from us. Clean, tidy rooms, it paid off. I'd pick another hostel for the next trip to the island.

The photos on the website are a little misleading.

Good rooms, good shops, constant hot water, the attention was very good, the breakfast won the 4th star, the cost is very affordable, I'm not going to say the 5 stars because we had an invasion of ants....nothing that can't be solved, very recommended price/quality.

A posada is acceptable.

Good service in a beautiful enclave surrounded by jungle. Very rich and abundant breakfasts. The staff very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, modern and beautiful building. although some rooms have a little mold I will not lower the score because with the humidity that makes here I bet that every room on the island has some problem with it.

Good stuff: 
1. Aircon works great.
2. Clean room (and cleaned daily)

Bad stuff:
1. Door handle fell off twice
2. Breakfast is basically ham & cheese toasties, scrambled eggs, sausage stew and... cake (?!) at least the toasties remained after they took away the eggs and sausages, but then the toaster broke and all that was left was white bread slices, cheap ham and cheese. That's when even trying to eat breakfast stopped having any point.
3. Construction going on (well, can't really blame them too much. They've gotta do it at some point)
4. No one at the reception when I arrive, and speaks barely any English.
5. The cleaner left her keys in my door for half a day. Yay for security?!
6. They clean by using a water hose, rather than a mop or hoover (common areas), flooding the whole place for quite a while, making it barely usable.
