Lovely staff, and quite clean. 
To be honest is quite good for the price I took. Definitely I recommend if you go with friends, or small group.
The breakfast is included, but do not expect a big table with a lot of choices.

Pleasant overall

Nice, little B&B on Ilha Grande. The location is perfect, only a few steps from the beach and the ferry, and there are several bars and restaurants nearby. The family rooms are big and practical, but our room did not have a balcony. The breakfast is ok with bread, cheese, ham, cerials, cake, fruits, juice, coffe and tea. Wifi did not work in the rooms, we had to go to the reseption. Good value for your money.

Nice B&B

Good position in the centre of Abraao but the structure is pretty old, the rooms quite poorly furnished, the wi-fi works yes and no and often there was nobody at the reception, that makes easy to anybody to take the keys of any room and break in. That is not good at all. Breakfast not bad. We never saw the monkeys in the garden. 

Old structure 

Lovely reception staff, jungle views and lots of wildlife in the garden. Hammock on terrace was nice (but would have been better if the back garden area was a bit tidier!)

Our superior room was a bit disappointing, tiny bathroom in need of painting and room was very dark, needed a light on even in the middle of the day!
When we arrived the main power was off and there was very loud generator noise. After some heavy rain we had a pipe dripping onto a tin roof right outside out room the whole night, very annoying.

Overall a pleasant stay, could be better though

We went to llha Grande as a family and enjoyed our stay in the Pousada Flor de Lis. For this short trip, we booked two rooms for a group of 4 adults and 3 children for two nights. When we arrived we were allowed to get into the rooms before the check-in time as the rooms were available. That was very helpful as allowed us to change quickly and leave the bags in time to take a day trip to Lopes Mendes.

When we left as well, we were allowed to keep the room for a few extra hours for a  small additional charge. 
Moreover, if we had not been able to stay in the room, the pousada has a shower downstairs and towels available to guests so they can change when they return from their day of out. They also have a room where to leave the luggage if necessary.
Everyone enjoyed the tasty breakfast and the complimentary afternoon coffee with homemade cakes that was a nice extra. 
The rooms were clean - though they are difficult to keep clean as it is hard not to enter without sand on your shoes. The air conditioning was working well and the showers as well. So we can't complain about the facilities in the room.
We were given one room upstairs and one downstairs. If you can choose, the upstairs rooms are better (larger and the decor is nicer), the downstairs ones are quite small but considering we were out most of the time and for two nights, that didn't matter at all. 

The towels were changed everyday and everything that we asked was made available to us without problems.
All the staff that we were in contact with were very helpful so we had a great stay in the Posada.
