We are 2 single females touring Argentina and Brazil and stayed here on the island for our last 3 fabulous days.  Hotel was lovely, beautiful view, attentive staff, great location and good breakfast.  The only downside was that breakfast isn't served until 8am and so we were desperate for coffee as we are early risers.  No kettle in room and so we paced the floors until 8am.

In the heart of beauty

Our stay at the Pousada was wonderful! The whole complex is beautifully decorated and the rooms are furnished with love. From our balcony we had a great view of the beach and the sea. The staff was super friendly throughout and spoke good English, which is not a given in Brazil. For us, our stay here was a 10/10 and we would have liked to stay longer.

Naturalia was just what we needed on the island - beautiful, clean, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and a great beach tour we could book right through them! A quiet oasis that we highly recommend.

An oasis!

Very nice pousada with an excellent view to the beach. Situated on a slope with magnificent trees and flowers we enjoyed the silence, the view to the beach (50m far) and the nearby village of Abraáo.
The room was clean and modern, breakfast was excellent with a variety of fruits. 
The hotel owner was friendly and helpful. After the travel agency let us down on departure, he organized the transfer to the mainland by phone.
We can highly recommend this pousada. 

Excellent Pousada

Naturalia is above the quieter end of the beach . A lovely peaceful place surrounded by greenery and bird song . 
The staff are so friendly and helpful , Victor, Michele and Mariana. In fact Mariana very kindly helped us by sorting out a problem with our return transfer 
3 of us went on Naturalia’s own boat trip to the beaches stopping off for lunch on a small floating restaurant where we had delicious food and too many Caiperinias ! 
Lovely fresh breakfast is served from 8-10

Surely best place on the island

Loved this Pousada - a tranquil oasis !

Nice and friendly staff. They fehlt whenever you have a problem. The rooms where clean and the breakfast was delicious. Always with bread, egg, fresh fruits, coffee, fresh juice and cake.As one special thing there a hangman’s on the balcony we really loved.

Great stay for a week or more

Such a lovely place, towards the end of Abraao beach, accessible with a little walk along the sand. Very friendly staff who can speak both English and Portuguese. Room was fantastic & clean, balcony even better with views of the sea (also has a hammock). Close walk to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. Roof was available before the check in time too, so was able to put my bag in the room and go and explore.

Would definitely recommend, and stay there when visiting next time

A bit of a disappointment. Rooms are small and very worn out with a constant humidity smell, although the bathroom is clean and well maintained and the terrace and view as advertised.
Breakfast is decent but insects seem to find their way everywhere.
Staff is very nice ans welcoming.

Below expectations

It is hard to put into the words the experience we had at Pousada Naturalia.  It was one of the best experiences I have had with any business, regardless of business type.  From the owner to EVERY (and I do mean every single one of them) staff member, my family and I were shown a level of respect, attention, caring, help, and love that I was not expecting.  They helped us plan our trip and was with us every step of the way to help make an unforgettable experience.  We booked an extra day just to extend the experience even longer.  I expect to be treated with respect when I go to any business, but they all went much further than that.  I left feeling like a family member not just a client.  The staff was incredible.  They answered all our questions and solved every one of our problems.  The front desk workers were so loving towards my daughter, which means everything to me as a father.  Jum, the owner, was beyond fantastic.  One of the most kind and warm people I have met. Additionally, Baiano, the boat driver, was so knowledgeable about the island and made sure my family was safe.  We didn’t know much about which beaches were best so he helped us and took us to some AMAZING locations! He was patience and so kind to my entire family.  If you have the time and enjoy it, I really recommend going on a fishing trip as well.  Definitely worth it.  
The staff and the experience they will definitely provide you is what sets Pousada Naturalia apart from every other place to stay on Ilha Grande, but that is not all they have to offer.  The location was absolutely fantastic.  It is close enough to quickly walk to anywhere you need but away from the hustle and bustle of the main district for privacy and tranquility.  You don’t have to deal with the loud music and crowds of people and can just enjoy the island.  Each night I fell asleep to the noise of the ocean.  They do a great job with the rooms and the surrounding landscape to make you feel relaxed and well taken care of.  I did not run into any problems at all.  The one and ONLY bad part of our stay was not being able to stay longer!  The breakfast was great and had a great variety of food which they rotated each day to always try something new.  The entire staff wore masks and wore them correctly at all times.  There was alcohol to combat Covid in each room and on each table.  They also provide plastic gloves to wear when receiving your food in the morning.  The entire staff did a great job of doing everything they could to help prevent Covid which was definably important during a pandemic, even if it is (hopefully) at the end of it.   Our room was cleaned well each day and had everything we needed.  I literally have nothing to complain about Pousada Naturalia.  You can go where ever you want during your vacation to Ilha Grande but if you stay ANYWHERE else you are definitely missing out!

Pure Paradise

Every little detail is perfectely considered. Views from the rooms' balconies are unbelievable, breaksfast is amazing (most of it hand made), they even serve some cake and coffee/tea at tea time. Beds are super comfortable and service/attention from both host and personel is excellent. They will help you with anything you need and they surely speak your language!
