I booked this place for the 20th of January when my family and I arrived there to our surprise there was no reservation  we were waiting for some solution outside in the rain, a mosquito without end!!! terrible attendance the island was crowded!!! It was hard to find another place to stay, we were full of hungry children, sit... we had to turn around to find a place to stay!!! thank God we did it!!!

Worst place

A horrible place. If you don't have another place to stay, you better leave it for another opportunity. A filthy place, I've never seen a bathroom so dirty. Worst experience of living in a hostel. Expect a simple place, but not dirty. Bad bed linen, bad hydraulics, hardly brush your teeth with bathroom sink water. They sell as a hostel, and it's very badly treated as a low-quality hostel. No privacy, a horror. Feeling deceived by the price charged.

Worse Hospitality

The hygiene stopped wanting, we had to ask to change the clothes the bed linen from the room that they put us in, which had been used by other guests! toilet paper was missing, we had to ask for the garbage removed, my sister had to wash the bathroom herself because they didn't clean. Breakfast very simple, the same option every day. Not a breakfast you wait for when you travel. Air conditioning is old and noisy. I only had one take in the room. Bed linen is uncomfortable and barely changed. Summing up... I don't recommend!!!

The best hope of a lifetime.

My stay was from 14 to 17 April 22, Holy Week. Very expensive to start. Coffee is poor. Staff are not prepared. Our first suite the TV didn't work and there was a glass missing in the window (who passed through the hallway through the suite). We switched from suite to hole in the window and because of the TV. I don't have a generator what BASE is on the big island. The shower didn't work from the second day until the last. Staff talking bad about each other. Bedclothes and dirty bathroom. We were left out the doorway always empty. There is no interphone to talk to the doorway.

I'm sorry about that.

We were very well received by the aunt. We arrived a little before check-in time and our room was ready. Comfortable beds, great shower, air conditioning and TV working perfectly, clean towels and smelling. A whim. Simple and fresh breakfast. I missed more drinks in the room but I had a benjamin available. We'll be back soon!

Simple and wonderful.

It was laid down with a sluggish structure, dirty bedding, shower only worked for a hot day. A weak breakfast, room with dirty bathroom, mold. They didn't clean the room, we asked for more paper, they delivered the wet scroll! Despite the good will of the team, it left so much to wish that we left a day earlier than planned.

Frustrating.

Poor attendance, no one at the front desk when we arrived, lost staff, old bedding and towels, unprepared people, doing nothing to please, room cleaning not done, poor breakfast, hostel in need of maintenance, no closet to store belongings, for anyone looking for a place just to sleep and bathe, would not return again.

Care, cleaning, organisation

Located near the centre (cottages and beach), with quiet streets, the owner always helpful and attentive, clean rooms with bar and TV.

Great service and good location

I stayed there with my husband and other couple. It was one of the cheapest place we found for the days we want to visit Ilha Grande. The structure is not bad and the rooms are ok with you are not looking for modern/chic hotel. Shower is hot enough. The problem is that the rooms were not that clean. The pillows smell really bad and we requested to change them, getting another better ones. The bathroom had some hair on the walls. We noticed that the cleaning service was really poor. They offer a simple but good breakfast and the internet is good as well. 

Simple, but good enough for the price

We paid more than 3450 reals for three nights. One fortune. When we arrived the place was damp all over, old sheets and towels, we were met horribly and they also told us they didn't have breakfast because they were embarrassed. Then they said our card was in trouble, they wanted to charge cash. So we stayed only one night and paid and left as soon as possible. The card, however, worked perfectly in another hostel and the hotels we had stayed in. We wanted to make a transfer and didn't want the owner of the property to escape if they were embarrassed. We started calling the police. It was a waste of experience.
