We arrived at the inn around 6am, when the owner arrived, offered us breakfast and prepared the room, at 9am we were already set up... (when the entrance is from 2pm)... from the first moment I knew that the place had been chosen well... in our room the air was not working, so we were offered a better quality breakfast at the same price... amazing breakfast, fruit, cereal, yogurt, tea, coffee, milk, whatever you wanted, every day a different pudding, and a daily surprise, which could be repeated, excellent results... the attention of the two and the girls of the place, always very attentive, by means of complicated language, but always a good place for the sound of the sound of the sound of the plain... a good place for the masses, the masses, the tea, the coffee, the milk, whatever you wanted, every day a different pudding, and a daily surprise, which could be repeated, excellent results... the attention of the two and the girls of the place, always very attentive, always a pleasant station, but the magic of the place always excludes a good place... the ideal place for the masses, the seaside

A place of distinction, in an ideal environment...

I rented the cabin which is literally a cabin in the middle of the woods. Very charming and cosy, with all the necessary amenities. The main "reception"area of the pousada is also very charming to sit and read and chill. Near the beach, although a trek if you're over a certain age. The Bistrot has average food and the service is not good. Breakfast was good. The gardens are nice although the overall terrain is small. I found 3 main downsides with this place: 1) There is no pool - true the beach is close, but not that close, and if you want to take a dip its a long walk 2) There is usually no internet, or at least it's down. 3) If you rent one of the single/double "simple" rooms and not a cabin, you will get a very small room that is almost like a servant's quarters type of room, really not that nice. So, overall I found the cabin amazing and would return, but only to stay in a cabin. Value for money is excellent.

Charming cabin in the woods

What a beautiful place to stay. Room was very homey, clean and beautiful. Bed was very comfy and the breakfast was awesome. Would have stayed longer if we could have. Owner is extremely friendly. There´s nothing to complain, everything was perfect!

Beautiful place to stay

Regina Guest House is a small hidden pousada in the charming surfer/hippie village of Praia do Rosa. The reception was directly Brazilian-hearted by Regina's son (Danilo) :-) The chalets were all designed by Regina (building engineer) and lovingly decorated so that you feel right at home. The breakfast is very good and every day there was a homemade treat as a surprise. A visit to the bistro is also highly recommended - architecturally more of the same charm as the chalets and with much more enthusiasm by Danilo and his colleagues. The perfect place for a romantic meal.

Romantic Pousada

Rustic and charming accommodations; romantic setting; staff (including Regina herself and her son Daniel) was very hospitable and gave great recommendations; breakfast every morning; bed was comfortable with especially clean bathroom and great shower; sitting room with brazilian hammock for relaxation; fireplace; beautiful beach with great surfing, beach walks and hikes; great town; phenomenal restaurant on-site (staff was incredible there as well - hospitable chef and servers); during the off-season (when we went) it was almost a personalized experience because we were nearly the only ones at the pousada and in town; we would love to see Praia do Rosa in high season, but overall low season was a positive; if you want to learn to surf, perhaps the best deal ever is here - go see The Captain - everyone recommended him and he taught us things in 3 days that seasoned surfers had never known about the technical side of surfing, all for an incredibly reasonable price (and again was personalized since no one else was around)

Incredible beach and accommodations!

A friend and I stayed two nights at Regina's...it's a magical old mill converted into a rustic pousada with beautiful lush environment and quaint chalets. Our chalet was very comfortable, it felt like home away from home. The breakfasts were so yummy that we lingered around for hours drinking coffee and eating the delicious little surprises that Regina would present to us along with the cafe-da-manha -- fresh fruits, breads, yogurt, granola, juices, etc. Both Regina and her son were very hospitable and friendly. The adjoining cafe that is open for dinner is incredibly charming. We spent one night drinking wine and eating dessert -- sounds like a romantic getaway for a couple but it was so charming and relaxing that anyone who wants to decompress from a busy work schedule can easily do it here at Regina's. The walk to beach was only 10 minutes. I would walk barefoot down at the beach to surf. And when our taxi came to pick us up for the airport, Regina and her son were both there waving goodbye, and thats when I knew that this wouldn't be the last time I will see them! I adore Regina and her pousada so much that I'll be coming back very soon!

The room was gorgeous and was a small house rather than just a room, there was also a view of the sea. It's really well located for both the beach and town, each an easy ten min walk away. It is more than I usual pay as I usually stay in hostels but it was worth the extra. Highly recommend.
