Totally fine when you just need a place to sleep. Only one girl of the staff can speak proper English, if you speak Spanish it’s fine though. Kitchen is clean but the fridge is full of old groceries which is pretty disgusting. It gets pretty hot in the rooms. You will get a fan but there is no A/C. No special nationalities in the hostel. You’ll find people from Chile, Brazil, Sweden, UK and Belgium. No Germans around (I liked that since I’m from Germany haha). The garden is nice and the chill out zone with hammocks is super cozy. unfortunately no fun activities have been offered and also no tours etc. And even worse: they don’t have a bar! U just can buy water and coke at the reception. Oh and they have cats and dogs there, so be careful if you are allergic or afraid of animals... Get a room with sea view - it’s worth the money!

Fine for the night

It's a quiet hostel, traveling alone and having the best of it. Recommended because it's economical and well located. The rooms are small and not very ventilated. The people who run it have a good wave and helped me a lot. To get to the beaches you walk.

Quiet and well-located.

The hostel is very well situated, facing the sea. The cleanliness is not perfect but it is still a youth hostel. The staff is not necessarily the most pleasant but still passing by.

Well-placed hostel, good for the price.

It's an incredibly beautiful property. Great price for a legendary charm! Whether for couples, alone or in a group, every guest will feel very comfortable here. The reception is open to all questions and very helpful. Absolutely recommended!!!

That's great!

Excellent care, beautiful views and very good location. It has a beautiful garden with a view of the sea and a room where yoga classes and other disciplines are held. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The negative: WiFi does not reach the rooms and is cut very short, they do not have breakfast or do activities to encourage the social life of the guests.

It's a nice, quiet hostel and the living room on the second floor at night is super relaxing, making you feel like home is true.

Just great!

This is a hostel built on an old farmhouse from 1913, really incredible. It looks like a museum house. It preserves the original structure of the time. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms also complete. It has very good common areas, spacious and comfortable. It has a gym included in the fare. The attention of the owners of the best is 5 minutes walk from the center and across the river, where there is always a fresh sea breeze that makes you not need air. Without a doubt the best accommodation in Itacaré and the best price ratio.

Casarao Verde is a beatiful hostel to stay at. The staff is helpfull and friendly, if we had any problem they dig everything to fix it. The location is perfect and Its close to everything you need. The hostel was Very clean and they cleaned every day. They had a kitchen with everything we needed to make meals. And at last,  The hostel dog cacau is adorable.

Paradise! Awesome garden and outdoor social area. Good, if sometimes overcrowded, kitchen compensates for no breakfast. Clean bathrooms, beautiful building, professional staff. 
Annoying detail - you can't use the facilities after check-out.
