We stayed there for the new year week and our stay was extremely expensive for what it was. We were three in a very basic room with a poor kitchen and very small bathroom. We were very tight and lacked space. The room had no television and the electricity was always getting cut off. However, the worst part of the experience was getting out water cutoff. At some point we had not showered for three days. Water and electricity are basic needs and they were never guaranteed. Wifi was also very poor. The only good thing i saw was room cleaning and the staff that was nice but that wasnt able to help us when we had no water. Usually dont write reviews on TripAdvisor but i had to do it for this flat since i feel that it had a negative impact on my stay in Jeri.

Agua e eletricidade estava sempre em falta quando precisava. Wifi fraco. Eu sinto que nossa viagem em jeri foi pejorativamente afetadas por este flat.

Very basic flat, flat bem basico

The Aki Jeri Pousada is for those who are looking for a well located and afordable place to stay in Jericoacoara. All rooms have a pair of hammocks by their front door, and most are located in an almost private little area. I stayed in room 6, and was awesome to come back from the beach and relax in that private area until the sunset time. 
It is super close to the famous sunset dune, where you can enjoy the amazing sunset that Jeri has to offer.
It's also 2 mins walk from the main street, with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants.
The staff had good reccomendations for day trips and things to do. You can trust them blindly.
I would totally stay here again in a future trip.

Cosy and relaxing!

It's one of those rare places where you find everything you want for a very decent price: great rooms  (large, with airco, own veranda with hammock), super friendly people willing to help you with everything, great location in Jeri next to everything without the noise, nice breakfast. They really do very well, and you wont regret staying here. Try to take room 6 for most privacy on your veranda. 

Really really recommendable

The boyfriend and I stayed at the pousada from the 14th to the 18th of August.
The location is really good,  the staff really friendly, kudos for Vagner , Menta and the other girl that was there. 
Breakfast is everything I like it (breads, cheese breads, fresh made juice, cakes and fruits), my boyfriend loved papaya and is missing it already.
The afternoon coffee and cake was very pleasant too,
The swimming pool is not that big, but considering the location, people dont really go to stay on the swimming pool, even if you want stay on the swimming pool, because the pousada only have 7 rooms, very unlikely the pool will be busy. 
Cleaning was great, having air conditioning on the room save us from the annoying moskitos and the night heat. The bathroom is big, something I really appreciate when travelling. 
Overwall our experience was very good, we would definitively go back, the pousada feels very home like and comfortable.

Great place

The room is more spacious than most of the room in jeri. It's very nice to have his own kitchen.
The service and cleanest is great. 
Location is a bit outside of the center but it's the reason why it's cheaper and quite.

Spacious room in jeri

This pousada was the highlight of our 5 week trip in Brazil and Argentina. The room was spacious, thoroughly cleaned every day, we stayed there for 10 days and were not even once disappointed with the cleanliness or for that matter with the breakfast, which offers a wide range of cakes, freshly made juices and of course tapioca, my boyfriend's favourite. 
 
The hammocks outside the rooms and the perfect location just a couple of minutes from the beach and the main  Street are definitely bonuses.

The Italian guy who owns the place was very helpful when we needed to extend our stay and kindly sheltered us on the busiest time of the year. On that note, I have to mention Ana, she has the nicest smile and made us feel very welcome, and she is also the skillfull hands behind the delicious cakes in the morning.

In a nutshell, I'd come back any time and recommend it with no resitation

A little bit of home in paradise

Without having seen all the others, i can positively say this must be one of the best pousadas in Jeri. One of the most peaceful and charming ones for sure. Lovely rooms, beautiful garden /community space, excellent breakfast (the best i had on my entire trip around the Northeast) and a totally charming team. 
Also, this pousada is very close to the dune, at the edge of the town, and the air is much better, smells of sand and pine rather than 4x4-buggy-traffic as in the centre.
