The hostel is great and well located. I was very well served, the accommodation that was provided to me is very comfortable, clean, organized and with super efficient air conditioning, great bathroom, the rooms are cleaned every day. The internet (for those who need it, being better to disconnect on the plate) worked super well when I needed it. The charm is the plants and flowers throughout the hostel, in addition to the various species of beautiful birds that frequent the hostel every morning. The breakfast is great, not to mention that my dear Lady Lia, the owner, is very attentive, always arranging some mimicry and sweets for the guests. Finally, my experience was great, I will come back and recommend.

Staying at Gelaia House

We stayed here for 2 nights as part  of a birdwatching tour. Really enjoyed it here. Comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities with plenty of hot water.

Good breakfast available. We were especially grateful to have an early breakfast at 5.30 as we were going out birdwatching  early.

Well set up for birdwatching in the grounds with feeders, flowering cactus, waterfalls and streams. 

Lovely views over the town and good accessibility into town for a wider selection of restaurants.

Good WiFi in all areas.

Great place to stay especially as a base for a birdwatching break

The Gelaia House is truly a lovely paradise, where nature meets the warm hospitality of the family of Mrs. Lia and Mr. Carlos. The atmosphere filled with flowers and birds creates a magical and welcoming atmosphere, which invites guests to disconnect from the world's rush and reconnect with the serenity of nature. The dedication and kindness of the host family are truly striking as they strive to provide an unforgettable stay to each visitor. The kind way they welcome and treat guests makes everyone feel part of the family, creating lasting and special memories.

Magical experience with nature

Every time I go to Lençóis I stay at the house of the jelly, not only because of the atmosphere of the house that D. Lia and Mr. Zé Carlos provide, always concerned about pleasing, but also because of the atmosphere of the place that delivers what you need to experience in the city: a beautiful view, a huge courtyard with several trees and birds of the region, an environment for you to really disconnect. A wonderful breakfast, all the rooms with air conditioning and if you are lucky and hit a pot with the hosts, it will be filled with local culture and good stories. It is worth the stay!!!

The Best Lodge of Lençóis

We were extremely satisfied with the welcoming and familiar hospitality of D. Lia prepares the coffee with all the affection, as well as plants, birds trees Fish to contemplate, Mr. José has an immense knowledge of the plate (I love talking to him before going to the tracks), the first contact with Yara was spectacular. Top of the tops

The breakfast was very good and the hosts were super nice. We were just upset that we had to pay 7 reais for the 500 ml water from the bar, it was obvious that they were not lacquered and the owner himself had already said that it was from their well. He didn't want to take the jellies after that, so the amount we would spend on the jelly, we paid for the water... nor in São Paulo we pay that amount in the water, and strange how the 500 ml ones were 7 reais and the 1.5 liter ones cost 8 reais.

Good overall stay

We didn't stay here because it was already sold out, but we bought delicious jellies, we tasted and we picked the flavors, and I found the high price, a tiny pot for 20 reales and a regular pot for 40 reales, and I could make the pot for 10 and the big one for 25, which would be fair.

It's expensive, but delicious.

Very pleasant stay! Very tasty and tasty morning café. The rooms are simple but very clean, large and spacious.

We were very well received!

The first room was huge, with three beds. The second one was also large, with two beds. The wifi signal is not very good in the rooms, but it is easily accessed in the common areas. The one and the setup are also very good. I got there early in the morning, I played the bell and was ready. The breakfast is very good. I had a lot of ice cream and the hostess of the hotel (S. Lia) is always in the kitchen and has nothing new to experiment with. The owner, during an experiment, has a lot of radio and television, but it is also very easy to observe and observe every day.
