Beautiful location and gorgeous property, delicious and abundant food,  attentive and friendly staff. The sound of the river around the property is calming and it’s a great place to relax. The river and natural swimming holes were our favorite places, and the sauna is perfect for a chill, rainy day. We can’t wait to find an excuse to come back!

Perfect getaway in the mountains

Wonderful property, breathtaking location in the middle of the jungle and waterfalls. Extremely well-maintained, gorgeous decor, attentive staff and amazing food, all made from scratch and local produce. The small number of villas for a large resort with multiple natural pools, trails and waterfalls, makes for a particularly relaxing atmosphere. 
I highly recommend this place if you are a nature lover and want to experience one of Rio’s most beautiful sceneries.

Amazing Resort. Unforgettable experience!

It was a nice experience. It's a beautiful place. I liked the natural pools, the big lake, the trail by the river and watching all the different birds. It's a nice place to relax. By the way, the food is great!

Nice to relax

The place is great, nature, rivers and natural forest !!!
A place to relax and forget about the world, they have internet but your mobile doesn't work...  What is great if you are looking for a "urban detox" ....
The crew is AMAZING and the sauna  and natural river pools are AWESOME !!!
Rooms are comfortable. 
Things  that we think they could improve : the food is good but could be more "gourmet"; and they could have a fireplace into the rooms. 
But, if you're looking for a place to relax with a fair price, this is the place.

A Great Place  but need a touch of class

Most pousadas offer a nice chalet, pool and a few decent meals but this one has the whole package as with the river running through it they have managed to develop a whole network of natural pools and lagoons with a chance of catching some decent fish as well while you savour a couple of ice cold beers!! You can also go on a 5 hour hike and come back for a fantastic lunch or dinner - all included in the deal. If this is not enough excellent massages available as well as cleverly thought out sauna that links with the swimming pool. Final touch delightful views of the nature, forest, creeks, waterfalls everywhere around you! OK it is a bit of a drive from Rio - about 3 hours if you don't get caught up in traffic but definitely worth the experience!!

Harmony with nature, fabulous food, hikes and fishing!

Stayed with my family and friends for two nights in May. It was raining a lot and with two small kids you get a bit worried that these small people will get restless very quickly. But not here. You have absolutely all you can ask for close by. Fun and beautiful nature and things to do for both grown-ups and kids. Since it's a little bit "in the middle of nowhere" it's great that they serve all meals (which are also very good). The rooms are nice and clean. Maybe some new paint in the ceiling and a big clean or some new paint on the walls would make it even better but that is jus details that didn't effect the nice experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A great place in the middle of the forest.

Fantastic, relaxing, an escape, great food, beautiful scenery, wonderful accommodation, great facilities.
Staff and personnel are all helpful, friendly and free with support and advice.  The owner engages with her guests and helps to make you feel special.
