The Lord Hotel has the essentials for what we were looking for in Manaus, a comfortable bed and a nice shower. The room layout itself was very interesting - and the windows provided a nice view of the city.

Good Budget Hotel to Visit Manaus

I stayed at the hotel for two days and I was very well looked after. But the infrastructure is old, so the place smells like mold. Also, there is no shampoo in the rooms, only soaps and not everyone has new air conditioners. The Wi-Fi is bad, I couldn't use it. The surroundings are a little dangerous at night, so I recommend taking a taxi to get around during the period.

Old hotel and good service

It's a good option for those who are in the center shopping. Good accommodation, but long time without a good renovation. Breakfast has fallen down a lot. Choose the highest floors if you can, some rooms have a view downtown, it's not like a bad landscape is better than nothing.

Central hotel

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Manaus in the busy and congested commercial center.  The hotel is a bargain if you want to save money.  The accommodations are minimal but sufficient.  Do not expect luxury.

Mixed Review

I only stayed one night and I was very well taken care of.The room is clean and airy and has good power points, but the hotel is old.The location is good for those who have activities in downtown Manaus.

Old hotel

Hotel located in a street type cut throat. The air conditioning is noisy and not cleaned. The shower appliance and the pipe were broken sending water everywhere. The bedding is good. The common parts would deserve a good refreshment. The breakfast boiler had not had a good cleaning for months. Breakfast buffet with little to offer. No Wi-Fi. On the other hand, the kindness of the staff (including a French-speaking receptionist) makes us forget a little about the poor quality of the rest.

I met this hotel in the golden days. Regardless of its location in the center, its maintenance is leaving you wanting. In the days I was there besides finding a cockroach in my room the hot water was not working. Another very bad point. The breakfast is very poor and there is no one to replace the q. Cold-mixed egg a slice of cheese only a few pieces of pineapple and so on.

Old and abandoned hotel

It's very good for those who go shopping in the city centre, as it's very close to the police square and also for those who go to see the sights of downtown Manaus, but at night the place is dangerous even by car.

Great for shopping

The Lord Manaus was actually only a means to an end. For one night before we left Manaus after an Amazon tour. The rooms are quite clean and spacious. They are decorated but functional. We paid very little money for the room and were more than satisfied with the price/performance gap. For a transfer night, this hotel is highly recommended.

You don't expect much and you don't get fooled.

For one night in Manaus, the Lord Manaus Hotel is fine. It's in the center of the city, where the four stars come from, I can't explain. The rooms are clean, the air conditioning works, even if it's a little noisy. It's good that you can walk to the market and the opera house... but that's all Manaus has to offer.
