From outside it does not look like the Raffels in Singapore, and when you enter the lobby, you might think that you are at the cashier of a movie house, there is no elevator, and the stairs leading you to your rooms are probably to narrow for you and your suitcase.
But then the rooms, at that's the main thing, are clean, with good wifi reception, refrigerator with agua and cerverjas, TV with just Brazilian channels and even a safety box that can be very 
noisy if you turn the lock in the wrong direction..the bathroom is standard, but ok, maybe other guests will be more lucky, I have not managed to get hot water in 3 days..
Receptionists only speak Portuguese.
The great thing is the view: from my bed I could see the cupola of the great Amazonas theatre.
And on top of that, the location: you are in the middle of the cake: one road going to the docks,
the mercado and downtown, the other road leading to Sebastiao square and the Teatro.

The hotel fulfils its promise: cheap accommodation, reasonable quality. Whoever wants luxury should look for a more expensive hotel. In any case, the location is good for those who want to go on trips to Manaus, as it is close to the port.

For the price, it's good.

I went on a trip to attend the Brazilian Mental Health Congress and stayed a few more days knowing the city, the hotel is well located in the center, close to a lot of things, especially the bus stop, I spent almost nothing with a taxi, it was very easy to get around the city. The staff were endlessly attentive and available, everyone treated me very well, I stayed there for 8 days and I felt wonderful well. Thank you!

Great stay, good location, wonderful service

This place was an oasis in Manaus. The aircon was perfect, the room was so clean, and the location right in the middle of the great attractions! We walked to the docks from here, just about 7-8 min. away, saw the meeting of the waters, the Amazon theater is about 5  minuets away, 
This hotel is super safe, they lock the door each second, and it is near some great places to eat!
The desk workers are kind and considerate as well. I saw many of the same type of rooms for double the price, so this was really a value for all you get.

Super value, super friendly, super clean

The hotel is very good. I chose this hotel because it is located near the port, where the tours go. The staff were very polite and always willing to help. I only had a problem with the shower but they quickly put me in another room. The mattress left me wanting. And a week later I receive an email thanking me for my hospitality. Super recommend!!!

It's a great hotel.

It's a hotel in the center of town. It looks like it was actually a motel that turned into a hotel, because the rooms have mirrors behind the beds and the base of these are masonry.

In the fort you find a good location, you find a very clean environment and it has a very interesting service, it's very simple don't expect too much luxury. A good cost benefit. Breakfast is not the best. I recommend

Very good service

This is a small, modern, clean and comfortable hotel in a great location, easily accessible by public transportation from the airport.  The room in which I stayed had great WiFi and air condition, a very good electronic safe attached to the wall, hot water and clean, modern decor.  The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast adequate.  Even though I did not reserve breakfast, the hotel offered it to me as a courtesy, which was very nice of them.  

The location of the hotel is great - right at the top of Rua da Instalacao.  There are several bus stops just north of the street, which include a direct bus from the airport and buses for Vila Buriti (for the Meeting of the Waters, see a separate post) and Ponta Negra (for the CIGS zoo, Ponta Negra beach and Marina Davi for the boat to the fascinating Rubber Museum).  The downtown area, with the cathedral and the port, are a short walk away, as is the Amazonas Theater.  The parallel street, Rua Lobo D'Almada, is one of the best places for night life in Manaus, with people sitting in outdoor restaurants and bars, some of which play live music.  I was there during the weekend, and it was busy and felt safe, but I don't know how it is during the week.  There is a seedy aspect to the street, just like the Red Lights district in Amsterdam, but it does not feel aggressive or dangerous, since most people seem to be there just to chat, eat and drink.

An excellent budget hotel in a great location

We slept two nights in this hotel, well situated (it's the only quality) before we left for a jungle tour and then came back. We arrived at 3am and left at 7:00am: suddenly the hotel thought it wise to settle in a room on the ground floor attached to the breakfast room that is ready from 6:00am!

The worst hotel we've ever seen

Staff doesn't care about the satisfaction of the guests. They don't speak English. Room layout is okay, but beds are pretty hard. Breakfast is rather thin, dishes are often not clean. The location was okay.
