We liked the structure and location of the inn very much, the outdoor area is very good and well maintained, it is close to the village and the good beach bars. The rooms are good size and are comfortable. But what left much to be desired was the service, especially from the staff, not very nice. We were a group of 4 couples and apparently only we had our guests that weekend, it seemed that they were looking after us very badly, especially the reception area and the one that stayed at the coffee counter after breakfast. We would go out early on Monday to pick up the snack back at 6am, and when I was going to lunch on Sunday, we were approached by two of them (who were going to be on the reception bar's couch) so that we would have to check in a little earlier in the evening, so no one of the staff at the reception said that we could not be checked out of the coffee shop, and then, afterwards, we were asked to leave the coffee shop, and then, in the first half hour of the morning, we felt that we had to have the same kindness, because we had to have the same kind

Disappointment with Care

Excellent location (far from the village, but very close to the tip of the Mutá). Natural beauty at high altitude! The whole space is quite spacious, private parking and spacious room (king bed and extra bed in the bungalows). Quality breakfast, however, could start a little earlier (07h, or 07:30 and not 08h). Improvement points: Care. Most employees do not show sympathy and concern in providing good service to guests. They pass the impression that they make the daily demands out of obligation and do not feel pleasure. Maintenance in general facilities.

Well, it could be better!

I liked the inn. Good location, tasty food, clean and beautiful beach right in front. The staff are very attentive and very solicitous. The rooms are good. As points to improve in the guesthouse: breakfast time is served from 8am, but could start earlier. The pool could have the mud removed more often. Finally, although it is not a matter related to the inn, access to the city is MUCH precarious. Tiresome, stressful, worn out, car bad, dangerous, etc. When I went, they said that the sedan was coming quietly, but it wasn't what happened. You take, in a walk, three to four hours to 40 km. As suggested, leave the car in the bathroom, cross the waterway, and take advantage of the pedestrian or pedestrian coverage.

Excellent accommodation! Comfortable, well located, wonderful swimming pool, beautiful common area, beach front. Prudent attendance from the entire team, especially from the administrator Rafael, who since arrival was very attentive and helpful. I stayed in the bangalow and loved everything! I intend to return!

I recommend it!

I had my wedding in the hostel, where I stayed with all the guests and I was delighted with the attention of the whole team with the well-being of each of the guests and with the care for every detail for the day when everything was right. And it was just perfect!!! All the guests loved the size and comfort of the rooms, the great location (near the village and lively bars of the region), as well as the privileged look in any place they could fit into the common area.

A dream come true

Excellent accommodation, excellent food, excellent attendance, impeccable hygiene... summarizing... note 10... wonderful nature of God... highly recommend... if I had no other place in the world to meet would I return every year

Unforgettable

For those who like nature, it's great. Very rustic style, but comfy. The downside was the preservation of the outdoor areas, leaving much to be desired. Very good service; great breakfast, with several options made on time.

Good cost-effectiveness

We just arrived from Barra Grande, where we stayed at Pousada Kaluana. I was with three friends and we booked 2 rooms. The hostel is beautiful, located in a privileged location, with a lot of potential to be wonderful, but it's not yet. Spacious rooms, with very smelly bedding and curtains on the beds well cleaned. Old mattresses, very small bathroom, needing urgent maintenance, with shower smelling burnt. The cleaning is good. The attendants are very busy, but need urgent training, pq everything takes too long.

Assessment

The hostel is beautiful, has a wonderful green area! Great location, 20 minutes walk from the center. The streets are sandy, which gives a very cool rusticity air (I recommend a lantern to walk at night) or a taxi that costs 50,00. Very close to Ponta do Muta, from where you can be dazzled with a beautiful sunset and calm and green waters. The beach in front of the hostel is very beautiful, full of coconuts, clear water and with beautiful natural swimming pools on the tide (ideal to go on the full moon or new, as there is greater variation of the tide and greater suction of the corals and fishes, including in the outdoor swimming pools, which is about 6 km from the beautiful waterfront with a beautiful walking distance to the chalet). The hotel is very nice, with a good view of the pool and a very good view of the lake.

Perfect holidays!!!!

I went to Kaluana only to spend the day at the bar and have lunch. We were very well served, the food was excellent and the view of the beach and the corals was wonderful. The cool thing is that they do not charge minimum consumption. I especially appreciate the attention of Zoio, who works there.
