Small hotel located on a street near a large shopping mall in the old town of the docks of the big market very well placed simple but functional room and bathroom a little dark but well furnished cabinet table refrigerator bed comfortable nights quiet small pool wood decoration restaurant on site nice home French and Brazilian languages overall a very good stay

Very good stay.

I'm a Bachelor in Tourism and I'm practicing this experience of experiencing wonderful environments in my own city. Unfortunately there have been some unpleasant situations. The space is beautiful. The plants around the pool are very well planned. But the pool was in maintenance. This shocked me. I want to praise the work of three employees: Reginaldo, Ruth and Eva...Great as our region urgently needs to train personnel in tourism areas, I finally realized an ancient dream.

Very good hotel with a wonderful interior and well decorated, affordable price and welcoming staff. My stay was very quiet, the rooms have everything useful for you to use. Next to the hotel there is a very good restaurant and bar with a French touch. The swimming pool is wonderful along with the decoration. It is very well located, at last, it will be very well served!

Very good hotel with a wonderful interior and well decorated, affordable price and welcoming staff. My stay was very quiet, the rooms have everything useful for you to use. Next to the hotel there is a very good restaurant and bar, with a French touch. The pool is wonderful along with the decoration. It is very well located, at last, it will be very well served! The owner is a prose and always appears for a good day or at the bar to greet guests.

The hotel is located in a good location, with a restaurant with French and French cuisine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff speaks other languages besides Portuguese and give various valuable information about the city.

Very pleasant environment

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The hotel is very nice, with romantic lighting. The size is amazing. We are a couple and two children, three and six years old. The mezzanine proposal is good. But in the first room, three cockroaches appeared while we were bathing and the mattress of the couple had two holes through which springs came out. I got a scratch on my leg. The bath water is cold and scarce. Careful officials. They changed our room after the mattress episode.

Median hotel

The massilia was the first of a long list of hotels booked for our one-month trip to Brazil. The period is wrong, we went there in December 2019, just before this damned virus.... The reception was good, although not necessarily very warm, and the services slightly shifted versus the price.... The hotel is well located, in the city center but away from the noise. The pool is a more decent bean than functional. The rooms are quite large, the climate a bit sluggish... No Waoooo effect for this establishment but it does the job...

The first one!

My wife and I stayed 5 nights with a Hotels.com reservation.
Arriving late at the Belem Airport, I used its costly ATM(over 15% fee to get BRL) to pay for a taxi ($12.50 US), arriving here at 9:30 PM. After checking in, the Portuguese-speaking receptionist led us down the interior court and up to the 1st floor in the back. Room #16 was to be our requested quiet double which surprisingly had a loft queen, accessed with a dangerous curving stairs. We then requested a normal room but were told none were available and ours was in fact an upgrade.  So we made the best of the situation by both sleeping on single beds on the bottom and using the loft for laundry and storage.
The 6:30 AM breakfast buffet in the court restaurant(with AC) is well provided with juices, fruit, breads, scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, muesli cereals, cakes and coffee.
I exercised in the medium sized pool and also by continually walking near the restaurant to get working WiFi, until replaced on 3rd day with stronger network.  
We walked 500 m southwest to the Republic Square's cambio and Theatro da Paz, 800 northeast to the bountiful Supermarket Lider Doca and 2 blocks west to the large Boulevard Mall with its excellent 4th floor food court.
While not pleased with our specific room, no English channels on TV, no hot water and noisy room fans, this hotel offers a great location, beautiful woodwork, peaceful courtyard and excellent value at $47 US per night.

Charming 20 room hotel with a courtyard pool.

I have been to this hostel several times and every time I come back it is a pleasure to find the same familiar and charming atmosphere. The pool area is a delight. The rooms, although simple, are comfortable (split air conditioning, LED TV, good mattress). The breakfast, although simple, is very good.

Charming hostel

A simple but well-located hotel, close to the city centre, is more like a hostel than a hotel. Old facilities, needing renovation. A spacious room and there is a mezzanine inside the room where the couple's bed is located. One climbs the wooden staircase, little care is taken not to slide. They leave bottled water every day as a courtesy. A delicacy, since it is very hot in Bethlehem. A comfortable bed, air conditioning refreshes the room well. Bathroom with unpleasant smell and a weak shower. Cleanliness. Good breakfast with variety, super friendly and willing attendants. We have an exorbitant value for being good at the weekend of the Cyril of Nazareth. I would not return to the hotel that had even reduced a value.
