It's a very nice place, very quiet, very safe and very neat on the beach. Everything is very clean and very well taken care of. The breakfast is delicious. The service is also great, everyone is very attentive. Not only is there no refrigeration items or meals but there are very delicious snacks right next to it. It's a small hostel in a very quiet environment, ideal for resting. The beach of Itacoatiara, which is next to the hostel, is very beautiful but has a rough sea, but you can get wet in the shallower part. It also has the beach, a calmer one behind a stone pool. The beach is very clean and not crowded. The other beaches are nearby, a walk of 30 feet or 5 minutes by car (only this one is difficult). But I only stayed in Itacoatiara because it was very close to my hostel, and I recommend that the hostel be too close to my own.

The hostel is very close to the beach. It's charming, cozy and comfortable and everyone's service is perfect. Katia, the owner, is extremely friendly and welcoming.

Delicious little runner

The hostel is delicious! It is located in a super quiet, very safe street, we feel almost like a city inland! A few steps and we were already on the beach. We stayed in a large room with balcony and swimming pool view. A large bathroom and a very good bathroom! Everything very clean, quiet air conditioning and a comfortable bed. A great breakfast, with super fresh fruit and juice. Timely baked bread, delicious! Katia, who is the hostel owner, is always willing to give good tips on the different programs available. We will definitely return!

I highly recommend it.

We made a reservation this last children's holiday in October and our expectation was surprising. We were very well received by the owner Mrs. Katia and her employees as well. The hostel is very well located. Close to the beach and the trail (attraction of the place) where you can reach the access trail to Bananal and Costão (national park of the Sierra de la Tiririca). The beach is short of surfers (very angry), has booked next to this same beach, the beach, ideal for children and also for many adults. Itacoatiara is a good place that seemed to be safe, because it has a police cabin at the entrance, outside the banqueting association, very active in the place. On the edge I have some mock-cleaning, not prepared a very good service (a nice face). The beach has a beautiful view of the beach, the beach, because the beach is ideal for children and also for many adults.

Pleasant landing and very well prepared for the reception of the guests

Nice house where the owners welcome you at the door, very close to the beach. I liked it. Itacoatiara surprised me by the security structure (although there aren't many restaurants nearby), clean beach, and cozy location. Good request for a quieter weekend and close to the sea.

This ousada is located in one of the most amazing beaches in rio the environment of this place makes you feel at home,simple and coze, young and pure good vibration for who likes to charge some waves or just hike on costão a huge rock that you can see the Atlantic Ocean and Copacabana beach ALOHA!

Vacation 

Located 2 blocks from Itacoatiara beach, it is a house transformed into a guest house and run by its owner, always very friendly and serviced.The rooms are spacious and with A/C. It offers excellent breakfast service in an area with exotic vegetation, hammocks and a swimming pool to cool off the heat.

The Pousada (hotel) is one block from beautiful and unique Itacoatiara beach. It is also two blocks from the entrance of the Costão mountain path. It is calm and quiet at night. The room and bathroom were spacious. The owner Katia is very efficient and very nice making for a wonderful stay. Will come back.

Good value. Great hostess-owner.

The hostess gave us a suite for the cost of a regular room! She did that because she wasn't full and since there was space she figured why not. And, that is kind of how the whole place is ... what can they do to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, they'll do. They went to work when we got to the breakfast area and there were no other guests around.

One day we needed to get a taxi to go to the supermarket. But wait, the hostess' daughter, who speaks excellent English, was going to the supermarket so they just agreed that the daughter would give us a ride there and back again! It's like that ... so kind, it is more than just a pousada/B and B it is a little slice of heaven!

It is a 5 min walk to the the beach: Praia da Itacoatiara. It is hard to pronounce for the English speaker (E-ta-co-ach-e-ara) but unbelievably beautiful. And, it is the local Brazilian experience ... there are almost no tourists. It is all Brazilians and lots of surfers because the waves here are excellent.

And, the reason we picked it, it is only about R$50 to the international airport by taxi.

Basically, a well placed hidden jewel! We couldn't recommend it more highly!
