In the bedroom there were wires hanging out of the wall, marks on the wall and curtains, generally run down. Bathroom wasn’t very clean, the shower was hanging off the wall with more wires hanging out. Breakfast was ok. WiFi wasn’t very good. 
Fantastic location in the centre of the old town though.

hostel is good located not too far to walk to the historic center, supermarket, beach. 
hostel is quite cool like the city, but our room (private) was not really cleaned up when we checked in. in the bathroom lots of old stuff from other people were laying around and it was dirty as well. we had lots of mosquitos in our room, who wanted to eat us at night and the double-bed was really hard like a stone. 
breakfast was alright.
so we think for that money we paid, you can get better hostels.. receptionist man speaks english and is very helpful!

This was the best hostel I've ever seen. Super kind staff, specially Rafaela and Daniele. The house itself feels like a true home. Beautiful interior and all very clean and spacious. The breakfast is delicious and very complete! Muito obrigada!

The best hostel I've ever seen!

This hostel is quiet, clean, friendly, allows you to do laundry, excellent kitchen and has a great location. I'd highly recommend for families and couples wanting an affordable place to stay with all the benefits of the old town on your doorstep. 

Lovely place

Very nice hostel run by very nice people! Very informative and knowledgable and always on hand to offer any help. Breakfast was good, and rooms clean and tidy. Nice chill out area by the pool as well, and walking distance to old town, places of interest and shops
