Some reviews complained about lack of hot water but we had no issue.  Breakfast would be better if they offered an egg dish.  Paolo at the front desk is VERY helpful.  Can't say much for rest of staff.  Our mattress was ripped but it was comfortable.  Otherwise a good stay. 

We had room #1. It was supposed to be sea view but our view was the public parking lot beside the hotel. Request 2nd floor so view is unobstructed.

Nice stay, great location

A beautiful Pousada is right near the coast! Very friendly staff as well at reception desk as at breakfast. The breakfast is quite good, you can ask for anything and the will prepare it, the rooms are clean and nice. 

Private parking is walking distance. 

Excellent stay

This pousada is very well located in the old town on the shores of the bay in a well restored old mansion. Friendly staff who responded quickly when there was a leakage and gave us another room. The beds were rather narrow and hard, but the rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast was okay, but the choices were limited. All in all good value for money, can recommend.

Great location, good service

Charming hotel close to the harbor. Top staff, extremely friendly service, comfortable rooms, easy outdoor parking, in short, a good address! You can ask them for a customized balad in boat. Only breakfast products could be cared for. 

A top address at Paraty

I stayed at Pousada do Cais with my family (2 adults, 2 children) for a week. This is a simple bed and breakfast conveniently located at the historical centre of Paraty nearly the pier. The place is clean, service quality is OK but not outstanding, breakfast is simple. Value for money was good, compared to other options in the historical centre of Paraty. They have family rooms, which we found convenient. We would return.

Simple but honest!

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a room with a mountain/sea view.  This was stunning and good value for money.

The pousada is in a great location in the historic centre and close to lots of good bars, restaurants and local amenities.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and our room was very spacious for a pousada.  

Breakfast is a continental style breakfast with fresh juices but no hot meals served.  The staff are very friendly but with limited English although the young man at Reception was excellent and spoke good English.

Would have no problem in recommending this for a visit to Paraty.
