We (2 adults and 2 teenage children) stayed at the beach resort for four nights. We stayed in the blue bungalow. It was clean (it got the clean approval rating from my wife) and spacious and the teenagers were kept happy by the presence of good WiFi. The beds were good, there was a TV, a cooker, cooking utensils and a large fridge. We self-catered for some of the stay and also ate at the restaurants along the beach.
Breakfast at the resort was good and there was enough to keep the teenagers happy.
We enjoyed sitting on the terrace at breakfast looking out across the forest to the hills.
The breakfast was made and provided by Sunamita who was excellent and friendly.
The pool was clean. The birdwatching around the resort and along the beach was very good. The resort is also close to a road that goes through the mangroves and the bird watching here was also good.
I would recommend this location for those who want a quiet stay as it is away from the main town.

Freindly resort with clean and spacious accommodation.

We stayed here 4 nights welcoming was good information given great map provided and information on things to do great. It’s a 2.5km each way walk to town a nice easy walk a hill but ok we did it all the time and pretty easy the location is nice away from everything in a quite place no beech cause it’s dirty but not there fault so all good you get breaky we did not try it the room is small has good air con and fan but a little dirty and I think a little bit over priced but it is what it is a nice pool and snacks in the room which I have to say wee a bit stale. The owners are very helpful and nice

We stayed here in February, first place we stayed on a long South American trip so we wanted a nice relaxing start to our trip. Jabaquara was perfect, super friendly English speaking brothers who were so helpful in helping us get organised with activities!
Great breakfasts with hot cheese pastries, air con in rooms, relaxing garden, & the pool was great for a night time dip under the stars! Beach is a short walk away however the town of Paraty is a longer (hot) walk or bus/taxi ride away, worth noting if you want to be close to the town. The local beach has a few restaurants & bars so you don't necessarily have to go to the town for this.
Overall, would highly recommend!

Friendly, relaxing place to stay for a few days!

I have stayed at the Jabaquara Beach resort for five days and I had a very pleasant stay. Me and my friends had a luxury room and it offered all the luxury we needed. A clean room, with internet, TV, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. 

There was a large pool to enjoy and also many options for children like a football field, swings, table tennis, trampoline and many things to climb on. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was neat but delicious, especially the small cheese pastries brought to us by one of the owners. The other owner (They are two brother) was kind enough to show us the monkeys, who were in the trees and could be seen from close range because they were fed with papaya. 

During our stay we booked a jeep tour and a boot trip. This was all taken care of by the owners. We were picked up from the hotel for the jeep tour and we went to the amazing historical city of paraty to get on the boot.

All in all we had a really relaxing stay at the beach resort and will definitely visit this place again.

Clean and good service in a small paradise

This is a fantastic resort. A real home from her. Johann Gerben are a big of dream team having built a resort with such attention to detail. Lots of advice from the start. Very welcoming. Johann makes a mean chicken curry! Breakfasts are also very good.
