The hotel is well located in the middle of the action and yet quiet enough for a relaxing night. My review is based on one night staying in a  room on the first floor where the only window was facing the building shaft with "a great view" of four other windows and almost zero natural ventilation. The room was not good at all. Old furniture, dark and extremely tight, tighter than the rooms at Ibis. Althought the bathroom was clean it looked dirty due to lack of proper illumination. Breakfast was OK. Overall this hotel fell below my expectation when you take in consideration premium price they charge for a night.

Well located but needs a makeover

The location of this hotel is great and very central. Breakfast is okay with good coffee. The rooms are clean and the reception staff helpful. However, overall the hotel is basic and quite dated. Limited mini bar and we did not eat in the restaurant. Air conditioning in the rooms is not very good.

Good location but not a luxury hotel

Old looking and smelling hotel. Bed very comfortable.  Breakfast provided and adequate nothing out of the ordinary..  Surroundings scary at night with many prostituttes, transsexuals and drugs deals going on. Better to stay in your room until day.light.  Pelotas  has not changed much in th last 50 years

Need some DEET Cleaning

I stayed at the Curi Palace for a week for a business trip.  The rooms are plain with little in the way of decoration or flash.  My room and furniture were in good shape and comfortable.  The mattress was firm but I like firm.  The towels were pretty thin and rough.  There was an in room safe.  The breakfast include hot and cold offerings with a good selection of each.  The staff was very helpful and tolerant of badly spoken Portuguese.  I would go back.

Clean, comfortable, basic Hotel

We got there for a weekend and had a very good impression of the hotel. The accomodation was big (luxo) with a small living space with a sofá and table, a big bathroom and a very nice bedroom. 2 tvs and 2 air conditioners. A good breakfast included in the price, nice restaurant and efficient room service.
