Pousada Tajupa is a cousy pousada, owner and employees are very kind, polite and always available to help with anything one needs. Bedroons are very clean, and everything works properly. All bedroons face the pool and other facilities. Pool, spa, jacuzzi, ofuro, everything was in order and working properly. Breakfast is a must: it has everything for all tastes (and taste home made). It is located downtown and walking distance from most city attractions.

Excelent place: everything near to everyplace in town.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Pousada Tajupa!!  Everything was perfect.  We enjoyed relaxing at the pool with our kids while sipping on refreshing cocktails, as well as open air massages at a secluded comfortable space. The staff was very accommodating and took great care of us.  Breakfast was a delicious feast!  The hotel rooms are clean and very comfortable.  In the evenings we enjoyed soaking in the Japanese style hot tub, and stargazed at night in their garden lounging areas while our kids were safe and sound asleep. We look forward to our next stay.

This lovely, little boutique hotel is artfully decorated and very welcoming. Besides, it is very economical----a big surprise---in this historical tourist site which normally is super expense. We paid about $85.00 a night during the week. The room itself was so inviting---a fresh rose on the bed and another in the bathroom. The scent of the towels and linens still lingers in my mind. Our room on the first floor opened to a small veranda with comfortable chairs and a hammock which lead to the pool. The room has AC if you want. We used it at night to keep out the occasional mosquito. Breakfast was fresh fruit, cheeses, all sorts of breads and rolls, steaming hot coffee and real fruit juice. And, if you're so inclined, you can order all sorts of other breakfast items direct from the kitchen (at no extra charge). The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We planned to stay for just a night, but the next day decided to go on a tour which would bring us back after normal check-out. The staff told us not to worry, that we could have a late check out. As it turned out, we decided to stay another night. And only wish we could have stayed longer!!!

The hotel is within walking distance to town. We left our car in the hotel fenced-in parking area the whole time. We felt quite safe walking around even at night.

Finally, if you want to really experience the history of Pirenopolis and see some spectacular sights, take an exciting tour with Fabio of Akihiko Turismo (ask Junior at the front desk) and if you want some delicious, inexpensive food from Goias, try the Empadao Restaurant across from the Igreja Rosario.

The hotel looks simple and unassuming from the outside, however.......

Me and my boyfriend spent 2 days there, the room was cozy and very clean. Breakfast was a real feast, lots of cakes, fruits, fresh bread and tapioca. The staff was super friendly and always wanting to serve us the best way. Pool service was also great. 

Perfect ! 

Pousada Tajupa was a getaway for my girlfriend and I, while on a trip visiting her family in Brasilia. Close to the charming churches and shops, this was the perfect staging ground for our day trips to the nearby cachoeiras and shops. It was walking distance to Boca do Forno, and other delicious restaurants, but wasn't right in the middle of town. We really liked the balance. 

The staff were incredibly helpful, though I don't think any spoke English (you can always bring a dictionary, hey?). Breakfast was AMAZINGLY good, and was served for a decent chunk of the morning. I swear to God I have been craving that breakfast for a month straight.

This is the perfect spot for two love birds to cozy up, but would also be a very comfortable for a few friends or even a solo get away. Family friendly, though I only saw one family there, and safe, Pousada Tajupa ranks as one of my favorite places around the world for a nice getaway.
