We were super welcome, cozy stay, and a great location for those looking for peace and quiet and nearby beaches to visit like the patcho, the creek that were their favorites, exceptional breakfast, and dinner options at the hotel's own chef's menu!

Excellent cost x benefit!

A good place for a short stay. Access to the beach is not adequate, because improvements were being made to the hostel street. The people who received us were very friendly, but we didn't feel the welcome we deserved. We were staying at the hostel to participate in the Boat to Run of Olympikus and as the race took place before breakfast, we were not offered any fruit or anything like that.

It's a good place.

They have potential and structure to grow. But there's no Reception, a girl is waiting for you with a notebook just with our name and card machine. The room was new and had a huge bathtub but it was forbidden to use because it was broken. New shower but it has no adjustment or burns people's skin or it's super cold. The bed had an old mattress that deformed when I went to bed and gave me bad nights of sleep. At breakfast... which is practically inside the kitchen, they don't respect protocols  Pracovid free with methods like making disposable gloves available for guests to use. The family would have their own masks and meals.

There is no administration.

Positive: the view from the balcony is pleasant, the room is cozy and the bed is comfortable. The terrace is very close to the sea and the harbor of the street. The tours go out near the inn and the owner has good contacts for walking. Flexibility in booking changes and cancellation. Negatives: 1) On arrival at the inn the owner was not to check in, had a girl who was cleaning and did not know how to give any information, about Wi-Fi, room and how to leave the hot shower. 2) They are not following the measures of covid prevention, because nowhere do you find alcohol available to guests and owners do not use banks, only the morning girls. 3) Some rooms have problems making it difficult to discharge the sun, and the insulator tape on the signalling tape on the Wi-Fi. 4) The room does not operate in the upstairs of the square.

Lack of professionalism

We were in a couple in the hotel Porto, and as soon as we arrived we were very well received by Paul, who left us very comfortable as if we were at home, we liked everything, the only caveat was the Wi-Fi. There was no signal in the rooms and we had to use the mobile data. It's a simple thing that a signal repeater already solves the problem.

Fitted

The location is good, very close to a still unmotivated piece of the beach. But... the Wi-Fi signal didn't get to my room, I had to use my data plan with roaming. Even the Internet, which wasn't paid for by the owners and just stopped working for 24 hours, and whoever connected was facing a pay your ticket screen, and there was no one at the front desk who could solve this problem. Besides, the employee who usually stayed alone in the hostel is not able to solve any problem. The shower was totally dirty and clogged, I had to clean myself. The towels were old and fine, not all for the daily price. Only one of the staff seemed to have a mask, and yet I didn't always use it, even preparing a kitchenette.

Amateur and unmanaged

We spent 4 nights here and we were very happy with everything. We were received so well by our host Paulo and looked after like members of the family. Sao Miguel is not easily reached but we would love to come back and spend a few days here again. 

The guesthouse is right by the beach and we never needed our flip flops even in the whole time we were there. Just out of the back door and out onto the beach. 

Beware that English is not spoken here. But no issues for us. 

The rooms were clean (and cleaned every day) and cosy. The feel is very relaxed, and overall it was very quiet in the area and around the guest house. 

The breakfast was cooked fresh every day with fresh fruit, juice, eggs, cake, tapioca, Brazilian specialities etc. We spent a lot of time at breakfast just relaxing and eating way too much of the Brazilian food. 

Paulo arranged trips to the piscinas naturais and back to Recife airport for us and all went without a hitch. We will definitely be back!

We will be back

It's a lovely guesthouse. The comfortable room and a very comfortable bed and sauna. Bathroom with perfect atmosphere. The host is a very friendly and helpful person. The nature surrounding the space makes it even more special. Very good breakfast. Recommended. It's a guesthouse that's over the sea, away from the publito about 4 km from the main beach of the area but the beach which is 100 meters away is just as beautiful.

A beautiful place.

Pousada with a charming garden, very green and flowery, beautiful night decorations, spacious room, good bedding, proper assembly, good lunch, welcoming and personal listening, a small path leads to a beautiful and large desert beach.
