Very clean and comfortable hotel, simple room, but with comfortable bed and air conditioning working well. Small bathroom but with shower with hot and cold water with plenty of pressure. Simple but tasty breakfast. It is very close to the beach and good trip heel, excellent place to practice exercises.

Excellent cost-benefit, and very close to the Good Trip footpath.

Clean room, but dirty hotel, messy, neglected breakfast, little choice and poor care, hot environment, old beds and mattresses, bad smells, bad WiFi... for the price it's not worth it.

We were in Recife for 5 days, and we stayed in this hotel. If you want good accommodation, no luxury, but everything perfect, this is an option you should consider. The price is highly recommended. Breakfast too. Simple, but tasty. If you need a simple, cheap and comfortable place, welcome to the Uzi Praia Hotel.

A good cost-benefit ratio!

Excellent service, however, from the room you can hear all the outside noises of the hallway. I suggest changing doors. Room a little small, which the photo doesn't show, but quite cozy.

A simple hotel, well located, with a good breakfast. Highlighted for the size and cleanliness of the rooms. For those staying with many suitcases, I recommend the ground floor rooms, because the hotel does not have an elevator.

Good cost-benefit ratio

It's great for when you're late in Recife, but it doesn't have the services we're used to. To begin with, the language. Even with the google translator we couldn't understand each other, there's no one who understands a bit of Spanish or English.

Only for the night of passage.

The hotel is ideally located near the renowned beach of Boa Viagem, near the bus stop (useful to and from the airport and Olinda) and to restaurants and bars, in a noble area of the city. The staff is very kind and available (he brought us the suitcase up to the room as there is no elevator), the room is spacious, clean with functioning air conditioning and with a comfortable bed. The bathroom has a shower with hot and cold water (mixer).

Great hotel with very welcoming staff

The hotel does not look great from the outside and is on a busy road near the beach so we were not optimistic. We found all hotels in Recife about 30% more expensive than we normally pay in similar cities in Brazil and there do not seem to be many pousadas so we stayed there out of desperation rather than attraction.

The biggest drawback is that there is no elevator for a two story building and the stairs are a bit narrow.  The room was comfortable and clean, clean sheets and towels every day, the TV worked (no international channels), aircon worked, frigo bar worked, the bathroom was OK.  Unusually for a budget hotel everything more or less worked. The staff were helpful, it was not noisy and the breakfasts were OK.

To summarise, there was nothing great but everything was acceptable.  We would go there again if we wanted to go to Recife again (unlikely)  We paid R$100 per night. there is a sister hotel over the road which was full but charged a little less.

Value for money

I stayed at this hotel in mid-April 2008 and paid $33 nightly. It is old and clearly a budget hotel--no frills.  It is located about 2 blocks off of the beach.  The room had a small refrigerator which worked very well. I recommend that you immediately stock it with bottled water because Recife is exceedingly hot.  The air conditioner worked extremely well.  The T.V. is small and it has only 7 Brazilian channels.  The location is about 2 blocks east and 15 blocks north of the center of the main tourist area--Boa Viagem.
