The check-in was at noon, but we arrived at nine. Paulo el anfitrión opened us up and gave us a luxurious cafe after a night of flying. The room he gave us is as if it were the home of a wealthy relative. Full of works of art and books at your disposal is Portuguese and English. A table with two chairs and the most wonderful view of Rio: el Cristo. Grande y cómoda. A spacious and clean bathroom. Oriental tapestries everywhere. The attention of the sound is out of proportion. A complete and varied breakfast. With all the indications you want Paulo will help you in everything. He speaks very well that there are no communication problems. At the end one feels in the home of a first-time Spanish master.

Rooms are all quite different and tariffs and amenities vary. 
Excellent served breakfast. 
Interesting place with some great and eclectic furnishings and art.

Adam, your host, is very helpful in regards to anything you need. If you're interested in a very cool (but energetic) walk up to Cristo Redentor through the surrounding forest (a highlight of our trip for us) ask him for details. 

Surrounding neighborhood is interesting with good public transport.

Eclectic Guest House, Nice place to stay in interesting locale.

This place is a true gem in Rio!  The rooms are large and spacious.  The area is quite which is nice and unheard of in Rio.  The location is great as it is close to everything.  You can access any part of Rio very quickly from here.  The host Paulo is a great host.  He prepares breakfast for you everyday and will even provide you with valuable info on places to go in Rio.  This place is especially valuable if you are a foreigner and need help navigating Rio.  He speaks like 7 languages!  

Great place to experience Rio 

A superb place to stay in Rio.  Unique location, Interesting decor, comfortable rooms with large beds, excellent healthy breakfast with fresh fruit and also fresh juices, and the best coffee in Rio, and brilliant service.  Fantastic views of Corcovado and Sugarloaf.  High up in the hills it has panoramic views over much of the city.  A little way from the city but well serviced by Uber / taxis. 

Team ullman challenge had a great time at rio palazzo. A great home beautiful artwork and friendly hosts. We will definitely be back. Each room we booked was beautifully decorated and big enough for all.

We were left with two smivas in the habitscion pan de azúcar with an incredible view of the green of the tijuca forest.The habitscion is very wide and clean and treated us magnificently.The attention of Natalia, incredible: very attentive to all details and providing information.Paulo, an unparalleled character who is part of the incredible experience.There is an omnibus in the corner that connects you to the various city properties and if a group of several, taxi or uber is a good option.sants teresa is ointco and of a special energy and is relatively close to everything.

A wonderful place.

Spend a few beautiful days, the place is very comfortable, it is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Rio. The view is precious. There is direct transport to the center and various tourist spots as well. It is a very quiet place, ideal for relaxing. The attention is excellent, with a friendly and very helpful treatment.

A beautiful and quiet place to stay.

Incredible guest house at the top of the Santa Terasa district. Artistic and cosy atmosphere, where antique furniture and artworks are next to each other. Spacious and comfortable room, with terrace overlooking a panoramic view of Rio, from Corcovado to the Bread of Sugar. Quiet residential neighborhood with restaurant nearby. Excellent WIFI. Desservis by two bus lines (one for the center, the other for Lago) as well as soon, return from the historic small tramway. Easy taxi access. Extra and cozy breakfast home. And the most: the welcome and kindness of Paulo and Natalia.

This is an amazing guesthouse.

Perfect place to stay in Rio, quiet and peaceful.  great breakfasts and wonderful staff! 
I thoroughly recommend this house to anyone looking for comfort, good info about Rio, and fantastic views!  Just Try it!
