Audrey and Julien welcomed us warmly and the guests took care of us. The breakfast was varied and of good quality. What a good stay!

That's great.

Michel welcomes you with simplicity in a quiet and safe environment. You will be ideally placed 4 minutes from the beach of Copacabana and 8 minutes from Ipanema. Breakfast is included in the fare and caipirinha is offered in the evening. At this rate for this location you do not expect luxury but just to feel good for a good holiday. Access to the kitchen is open if you want to prepare for dinner because it is true that resto and evening is a lot at noon.

Like at home... but in Rio! welcome by Michel, generous and caring to settle his guests well and help them discover Copacabana, Ipanema, and the rest of Rio; safe environment, valuable advice, evening appetizers, exchanges of places to see and things to do, very pleasant atmosphere!

The best guest house in Copacabana

A week after my arrival I was still saying yes it's fine at Michel's... tres tres rudimentary... (as well as the bedding and the room) but going is not a hotel but a guest house so we're in his house anyway... stay planned for 2 weeks for me at Michel's, and after a week of work in the basement room at 8:15 in the morning, when I go to see him to ask him why? He replied by sending me c... yes it's 8:00 and then? Here we don't sleep during the day, you're not happy breaking yourself!!!! Incredible.!!! Really a lively French behavior! So I understood after 2 days that he took it hard for me to get home in the evening, but later I'm on vacation B. It was enough to look for rough nights for 2/3 of a week.

it's better the hotel

There are house rules and the ambiance is perfect. The hospitality is unique and excellent. Michel and Zeneida love what they do. Breakfast is delicious. Theres even home made yogurt. And free cocktail hour.  The guests are so friendly. Parking is secure. Outstanding value !!!  At Chez Michel Riosoleil. 

The best find in Rio!!!

It's a really special place, the rooms are small but clean. The really nice thing is that Michel and Fanny are willing to give you information about the city, or about everything you need. Breakfast together on a single table, you have the kitchen available to prepare whatever you want beyond what they're already preparing. At 18 I recommend at least one day of your stay to come back.

How to Feel at Home in Rio

Rooms OK. Super welcome from Michel and friendly guaranteed. Tips for visiting the city. Very well located between Copacabana and Ipanema. Small and varied breakfast. Caipirinha in the evening to exchange with the other visitors. We left with regret Michel and the whole family.

If you're going to Rio, don't forget to stop by Michel's.

Very well located, clean as at home, breakfast, give good advice at 6pm 5 to 7pm very fun you will find a lot of tourists very pleasant and cozy atmosphere really a must-have 2 steps from the beach, grocery store and good restaurants.

Super safe location

Michel welcomes you as a family. The rooms are simple and unpretentious, clean with toilet and bathroom (shower). Everything is available for breakfast, eggs, fruits, milk, fruit juices, cheese, ham, coffee, tea, bread... you will not miss anything. Caipirinha every day at 6pm, when there are more, there are more.-) Ideally located between Copacabana (200m) and Ipanema (200m), a small enclosed neighborhood in the middle of buildings, quiet and on. You will be fine.
