Hotel Vitoria is a budget, very friendly small hotel located in a quite part of Rio, close to the Rio Dumont Airport and close to the Flamengo beach. There is a beautiful garden and Museo de Republica oposite to the hotel. There is a free wi-fi, air condition and a very small bathroom. No windows. Averege breakfast included in the price. You can leave your luggade if for few days here if you back, for exemple after seeinf Iguacu Falls. Many restaurands and shops in the area. Recepcionists speak portuguese only.

Nice place to see Rio

The hotel is very simple, but it's clean, the room I stayed in is very small and the bathroom is also... the hotel is old and has a staircase to get to the reception, I didn't see accessibility, on the other hand, the hotel is very well located, close to the ax and the metro station of the catamaran.

Great location

Positive points: The team is wonderful. impeccable cleanliness. Breakfast very simple, but enough. The location is excellent: in front of exit A of the Catete metro. Close to the Catete Palace, near Largo do Machado, near Flamengo Beach, relatively close to Lapa. Walking distance to several restaurants, bakeries, street food, pharmacies, supermarkets, bus stops, metro, facility with UBER. Easy to get to various tourist attractions. At night, after 10 p.m. the offer of options for street food decreases and becomes more concentrated in Largo do Machado, the walking time is of, at most, Not slowly, 10 minutes. Very good, but don't expect luxury.

I stayed one night and the hotel was very nice to me in terms of service, comfort, receptivity and price. The hotel is simple, but it didn't miss a beat, I was very satisfied. The breakfast left a little to be desired, but it wasn't a problem because of the pleasant experience I had. Super indication for those who want to stay well located, have comfort and pay little! You get a free breakfast with fruits, eggs and everything you need, air conditioning, tv, own bathroom, fridge, perfect for the price. Close to the beach, friendly staff, couldn't reccommend a better place to stay and perfectly comfortable and at peace to work from laptop.

THE BEST FOR THE PRICE

I enjoyed it very much. It exceeded my expectations. Great location. Close to the metro, onibus to the main beaches and tourist spots. Good room, good morning coffee, excellent service. I really enjoyed it and I want to come back. I recommend!!

Holidays

It's a simple hotel, the reception staff are very good, it's important to say that it's not accessible to people with reduced mobility because of the stairs. I didn't like breakfast. The location is great, next to the Catete metro station, I picked exactly by location. Obs. In my review by the booking website that I used, they said the cheaper the higher the requirement, disagreeing with my comments, look at my point of view, I have the right to like or not like the service offered, I got the price they stipulated, I didn't ask for discounts or anything like that, because of that, I don't stay there anymore.

Simple and well located hotel

The bed is awful, practically in the cement, because the mattress is thin. There are shrimps in the room. The breakfast is awful, with dormant bread and a juice that's made of dust. The TV is tube, which means it can't be seen straight. And it doesn't have an elevator.

Very bad.

The location is very good, a few meters from Catete station and 5 blocks from Largo de Machado station. A very busy daytime area, full of shops and economical places to eat. Upon arrival at the hotel you will find a large and steep staircase (the show in the photos). Consider those who come with many suitcases as it is expensive to climb them. The room that touched us was on the first floor so we had to continue climbing up everything for one more floor. The room was comfortable, clean and ventilated. Good cleaning with daily towels. The lacent room was cordial. The breakfast to me was quite small, there was only a few meals to accompany the coffee table, but for me it was the space that one of the rooms was destined for.

 Basic amenities

Spent a night here before heading inland to visit family. It’s not luxury, but if you’re on a budget it’s ideal. I’d liken it to an Ibis budget or Easy Hotel. The room had a comfortable bed, air con, TV, WiFi and en suite shower room. I had to borrow an electric plug from reception as my usual travel adaptor didn’t quite fit. There are no lifts and even reception is up a flight of stairs. It was clean and comfortable and breakfast was basic but OK. Right by a metro station for access to anywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close by is the Museum of the Republic, Flamengo Beach and some good eating places. I recommend Casa Republica.
