Limping down, but no soul, everything Xoxy, horrible shower, even worse hygienic shower, poor breakfast and only 7 and 9 o'clock, unstable internet falling every hour, finally I tried to clean up another facility, but the competing hostels were crowded.

It's clean, but it's soulless.

The hostel has cozy rooms, a tasty breakfast. It's in front of the fair that happens on Saturdays, when you go to stay, ask for back rooms because of the noise, but it's nothing that bothers much. The people who work at the hostel are simply a note 1000, all without exception very attentive and serviceable. It's worth checking out!!!!

The Treze de Marco stands out in a shabby street and is perfectly clean and well run.  Breakfast is of the usual Brazilian high standard and will keep you going for most of the day.  There was a slight issue with noise filtering through the wall, I think from the neighbouring house.  Otherwise no problems and it didn't deserve to be nearly empty when I was there..

Can it be that the last Tripadvisor reviewer stayed here in 2014?  I know Cachoeira is a bit off the beaten track but it's a fascinating old town, about the size of Paraty in Rio de Janeiro state but without the chocolate-boxy flavour of the latter.  The run-down nature of some streets gives it an authentic appearance and the former railway station has a neo-baroque splendour that no one has had the energy to destroy.

New premises, small, but very comfortable rooms, very clean. Good breakfast. Very attentive and helpful staff. Great cost-benefit, it met my expectations, a little far from downtown.

Very cozy

We went back to the Cachoeira for the Jazz Festival. I was surprised by the super attentive and friendly attendance. When I arrived at the inn, the reception was no different. The rooms are small but very functional, with a closet, counter, TV, refrigerator, great bed... everything very well taken care of and clean. The breakfast is great, varied, not too much in terms of the quantity of items, but everything very well done, hygienic and preserved. One day I had coconut water and the reception was nice. The inn is not where there will be much movement on the fair day. As our baby came along with us, we asked for a more quiet room, and they answered promptly. Finally... we loved the inn! I can't leave a record of my husband forgetting his cell phone above a desk where the reception staff was sitting and handed it over to the desk when we walked in the morning, and the reception staff returned to the room and we walked around the desk.

Great place to stay.

For guests who want comfort coupled with a good price, this is a great order. The hostel has excellent service and a delicious breakfast. It has a good security scheme, leaving the guest calm even without having a garage, cars are parked on the street without any problem. On Saturday when you leave the hostel you will be at the wonderful free fair!

It's a cozy place!

We were delighted to find this hotel, there was nothing missing. The room was spacious with good air conditioning and a good bed. There was nothing missing at breakfast, the staff was nice and helpful. In Cachoeira there is little tourist structure, so we struggled to find something for dinner. A restaurant in the hotel would be great, even a seating area outside, for example, to have breakfast or something to drink there. But that is probably difficult in the narrow old town.

Nice clean hotel in a place with few tourists

This Pousada was very well maintained, the staff was great, the breakfast was diverse and for all tastes/eating restrictions.  It is right behind the mercado municipal, so 5mn walk when you get off the bus, and 5-10mn walk to center of city.  It is pretty quiet except on market day.  Ask for a room on second and third floor to avoid general pousada noise.  The rooms are clean and new.
