The hotel is close to the beach, the attendants are friendly, the food is tasty and this place is good if you have kids too.
Choose the apartments on the first floor, I think it is a better option....

Good option in Barra do Sahy

It is no longer as good as new but well located, service is better than what the typical coast crew usually allows for. 200 m away from sahy beach. Parking is available and all rooms have dvd players, good for children. The restaurant has all basic options and dont miss the pool in the back, excellent choice apres beach

Good option for families

This is the 3rd time I come back to the pousada. Main reason is the beach(perfect for families), the nature around the entire beach and the pousada and the simplicity of everything around Barra do Sahy.
Well , this beach is just a couple of hrs from SP, and considering that you will find such a wild and rustic environment is amasing!
I have stayed in another pousada but this one in my opinion was the best.
The pousada itself is cute! The nature around it in combination with the colors of the pousada give a real cute touch ! 
The only issue are the Mosquitos that insist but if you are at the bar just ask for the spray because they have it available to the guest.
The food: this is top! The menu is not big but everything is really delicious. From the kids food to the adults is perfect.
Breakfast was really delicious and with loads of varieties.
An improvement point is to put fans around the open areas. We were in a very warm season and sometimes was kind of unbearable to be without AC or a fan.
The drinks: hummm the best part of the trip! Yummy caipirinhas and drinks! We even drank a good wine for a reasonable price.
The room: big bed, well decorated , effective AC, good shower and big toilet. Room hade net in the balcony and toilet. Our only problem was that even though we used the repellent  for the Mosquitos and kept all the time windows closed, the Mosquitos insisted to stay during nighttime. Maybe here is a possible improving point. Cleaning also could be a bit better.
The beach is just a 10m walk and the hotel supplies um umbrellas , towels and chairs .
In the small city there are some few restaurants options but my favorite is "fundo de quintal ".
Already missing Barra do Sahy!
We will definitely come back!


Best pousada in Barra do Sahy!

The rooms were better than expected, simply decorated and both rooms and bathrooms were clean. If the room was cleaned after you went to the beach, ofcourse one ends up with sand in the bathroom but obviously it gets cleaned out the next day. The common areas were pretty enough...again, small but that was to be expected. Staff were mostly excellent, very helpful and hardworking! Breakfast was good and so were other meals if you end up eating at the hotel. Beach is a 10 min walk and was perfect for little kids...shallow with small waves...
Not sure what type of a New Years holiday the previous reviewer was expecting over a busy season....there were lots of families. Some loud, some quiet....certainly nobody was rude in my opinion. There seems to be a school backing the property but given the holiday period, it was shut so noise from there. The only way sound really came into the rooms was if one left the balcony door open. Else it was quiet enough.

Small sweet place

Location is good. 10 min walk to the beach and close to the small market and few restaurants. Room have good space and it is bright and nice. Could have a blackuout curtain- because of the outside lights it is never dark in the room. People are very helpful and nice.  Social area is small but very green and nice also. Breakfast is delicious, a buffet with fruits, juice, cakes, breads, cheese and everyday a different treat. Lunch and dinner are ok (there are much better options close by that i recommend- eat at the Pousada should be the last option...) but if you cant sleep or rest with noise, thats not the place to go. Rooms are at the restaurant/ social area and even with normal voice tone, it is very noisy. We were unlucky and a very rude family was there at the same time and used to scream to each other all the time and all day...Another improvement area is cleanliness...the pool was never cleaned and a lot of sand inside the pool.one day a guest decided to clean it. We stayed there 6 days and the room had a lot of hair and sand  left behind...just after it was cleaned. I used to clean the floor everyday when came back from the beach. So, overall it is a ok place, in a great beach. Could have more care to details (clean the tables after people had lunch and not the next day...) and probably id come back due to proximity to the beach and light room but  knowing those flaws...and hpoing to be improved.
